I'm going to preface my review by saying that I am not a vegan, or vegetarian. But I was curious, and this place was highly recommended to me - and rightly so!After living in BC for a year, this place does the best pizza I've had so far! It's a shame I had to take a ferry from Vancouver for it... but I was informed that there are locations on the mainland!Anyway, back to the pizza. They use a thin crust, no deep dish pizza here. Light and crispy, yet not dry. I ordered the Stranger Wings (it uses cauliflower instead of chicken, don't worry!), and it had the perfect balance of heat. If I was being super picky, it could have been a little more generous with the toppings, but only barely. The fresh house-made lemonade is also excellent and makes a great refreshing drink. The lavender and camomile is subtle but adds just enough to it to make it stand apart from usual lemonade. They also make a version with ginger which I'll absolutely try next time. Finally, dessert. Anyone dining here absolutely must try the cinnamon pillows. Divine. I'd recommend sharing with a friend as I felt a little guilty having the portion all to myself...I ordered mine with some of their house-made vanilla icecream as well. This was the one dish that was a little lackluster. The coconut came through more than the vanilla, so some extra vanilla bean may bump it up to a standout item. They do offer a variety of other flavours that I'll certainly try on a return visit.Overall, amazing venue, service and food. 100% would return, and I look forward to the next visit! Thank you to the team at Virtuous Pie!

Lovely service, warm welcoming atmosphere? And absolutely delicious food. I highly recommend coming here.

For me and my family the best vegan place to visit in town and have a hearty meal. Don’t worry about ordering any item on the menu if you’re a vegan as everything is plant based even though the names might suggest otherwise. The pizza’s are really light and have lots of variety. Flavours are a lot different than pizza’s from chain restaurants. Of course this is attributed to the fact that it’s not regular cheese in there and all plant based toppings. Try to order a couple of them at least if you are two or more people. For Dessert we had one of their Sundae’s and it tasted good with the in house made waffle cone.A few starter options and salad to go on the sides as well. All in all we always love to go back and try out different items.

This was the first time we got to try Virtuous Pie in Victoria. We've tried the Portland location but, at the time, dine in wasn't available. This time, however, dine in was available and it did not disappoint. Fresh, tender kale Caesar salad with some of the crunchiest croutons + a pepperoni pizza with arugula and spicy honey, finished with an ice cream sandwich ? Everything was delicious. I'm definitely glad we split though, 'cause man that was a lot of food. If we have time, we'll go back to try their spicy chicken pizza. ??

Very good location but too vegan , I don’t think I really want to go back again. But if you are a vegan you will love it!

I love this place, such great food & service. My favourite is the mushroom pizzas. Also ice cream is tasty

Portions seemed very small for the price, but the mac n cheese & thin crust pizza were both tasty vegan fare. Disappointed my Kombucha was served in a tiny glass full of mostly ice cubes. Best part of the meal was the homemade vegan ice cream sandwich which was BIG, made with two fresh/baked vegan cookies. Service was pleasant & efficient during early afternoon off-hour dining.

Surprisingly delicious! My first experience eating a vegan "pie" and it was great! I would definitely be ordering here again. Got delivery but next time I would like to dine in :)

Ordered this for dinner yesterday, the super funghi. I'm not sure if it was just SUPER undercooked or if this is how the vegan crust was, but it was like eating melted "cheese" off a soggy warm tortilla? Like no crisp crust or delicious meltiness at all. And I was actually twice shocked - the second obviously tasting this "pizza", but the first was seeing how small it was for the price!! Would never go here, and would never recommend this place - vegan or not, avoid places that dont GAF about their crust.

The best spot for vegan pizza (or just pizza in general). Aside from pizza- their garlic knots are some of the most delicious I’ve ever had, and the cookie skillets and house made ice cream are beyond. When their Toronto location closed a couple of years ago I was heartbroken, but this location didn’t disappoint! Well worth the long journey
