Delicious food. Great service!!! Lovely restaurant. Mr. Phi Long, the owner, is very friendly, and nice.
Like a glimpse of paradise - a babbling brook, a cooling breeze, a lush garden. Never did I think I would find baby dill fish cake and tofu soup here on the Island. Broth was exceptional. Beef broth tastes like pure marrow, probably the best I've had in a long while. Kind and attentive service, what more could you want?
I ended up here in a sense by accident when my usual restaurant wasn’t open. I love pho and was glad to see this restaurant nearby on the map. I ordered the seafood pho and wasn’t disappointed. It included just enough seafood, vegetables, and noodles in a delicious broth. I tried a little of the house hot sauce as I love spicy food and it added a nice warmth. The service was excellent and I always appreciate when a server follows up soon after delivering the food to check if everything is as expected. The restaurant has a lovely decor and the music was subtle and relaxing. I’d recommend this to anyone who likes Vietnamese cuisine.
I went to there with my family. Not good not bad for taste but I guess beef was not so fresh little bit smelly. But Worst thing was they charged for tea without any mention. They asked me " water or tea?" And I said "tea, please." It was charged. And also it's expensive considering quantity and quality.
Good food but they charge different prices on different days…. $29 for pho and 2 spring rolls….. not sure how that worked but wont be back as I told staff I was being overcharged and had the same thing the day before…. Still came out to $29. Wont be back.
Overall decent pho joint. Owner and staff are always very friendly. Priced tend to be a bit on the higher side, and portions on the smaller but it's a nice spot and I haven't had a bad experience there yet.
I have lived in Victoria for 15 years and I have been to numerous numbers of Vietnamese Restaurants. This is by far the worst place ever!!! The price is too high for its quality and the quantity. There was not enough noodle, veggie, sauce or flavor. On the top of that, they charged extra for everything without letting the customer know. The price for the food should be $32 and it became $42!!! When asking the server to clarify, he was so defensive and rude, and repeated "I don't know what u want." He even insulted me saying that I did not know how things work in Victoria!I have never been charged extra for saying "We do not want peanut but like the veggies.", and for more fish sauce for the extra noodle that we had to order since there simply was not enough!! (I get that the I shall pay for the extra noodles, and even the noodles were $2 more expensive than other restaurants.) Never ever going back, and I will make sure to share my thoughts with my friends and family.
Absolutely delicious. Such fresh dishes and excellent service ; highly recommended . Have the homemade hot sauce !
First time to visit and everything was excellent. I had pho ba (seen here) and my wife, who is Vietnamese, said the bun bo hue is the best she has tasted here in Canada! We'll be back.
Hands down one of the best Vietnamese meals I have ever had! I have recommended it to everyone, and I will continue to do so!Great service, a very nice atmosphere, and above all else delicious food!
