Hands down, the best donair I have ever had. Stumbled across Top Dog on Google Maps and thought the site looked promising and was not disappointed. If their pizza is as good as their donair (and we'll be finding out soon) I foresee a long leisurely stroll through their menu. Open for lunch, dinner, and until 3 am.
If you want great pizza, go here! The pizza was delicious and not greasy. Bonus, it was a good price too. Overall the best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Will definitely be getting my pizza here from now on!
So. Darn. Good. Would highly recommend. I got the Gourmet Veggie (no mushrooms) and cannot wait to order it again. Seriously beats any other place in town and they're open late.
Pizza was tasty, and the vegan one was especially good for a vegan pizza. If I was to give any feedback it would be to include the vegan pizzas in your promotions, as the value for money was probably not there for most people.

I was a regular at this place when the old owners ran the place, the pizzas were much better quality, way more toppings, they always had the little dough balls on the pizza, cinnabones were way better and they would pack the package full to the rim.The new owners have definitely taken the place downhill, they are unbelievably cheap with toppings, desserts and all aspects of the food.Nice enough people, they tried their best to keep the recipes the same, unfortunately they have fallen short from the previous owners. It's a very unfortunate situation that the previous owners sold such a great place just to have someone eles step in and cut the quality down more then half.Let's not forget the prices, I understand inflation is happening everywhere but that's absolutely ridiculously expensive, especially with the fact they took over half the amount of toppings off the pizza and are very cheap on the deserts.I'll definitely be giving my money to another establishment from now on, I miss the old topdog, was the best joint in town hands down.I know the old owners sold out 3 plus years ago, it took awhile to write the review was all.
Coming from our hometown where there are multiple places for a good donair, when we moved to Victoria we were sad because we couldn’t find a solid spot. UNTIL I researched hard and found Top Dog. Top notch donairs every time. My partner gets the east coast and I get the west coast. Both are so so delicious and we will continue to order from here each time we have a donair craving. I love their Donaires but last night was really disappointing... I ordered 2 Donaires last night one with extra meat and sauce on the side. After waiting about 2 hours for the order it finally arrived. What was received was 2 Donaires one without extra meat and all sauce on the side which means there was no sweet sauce at all on the thing. The sweet sauce that was on the side looked old as well as it was oliy.
For the price, this is excellent pizza. And easily the best late night pizza in town. Picked up a pepperoni, ordered just before 3am closing. They were still upbeat and friendly despite the time of day haha. Great front end staff for sure. Will be back!
Rude customer service on the phone and misleading pricing online. Pizza was okay but nothing special. Bacon strips were disgusting - first time in my life that I've thrown away bacon. Crust was the only thing that was pretty good. Won't be eating here again.
