This is a bit overdue! We ordered the festive box over the Christmas holidays & I wanted to try everything before reviewing. We were very pleased, the roast beast was super yummy, all of the other "meats" were great as long as tossed into tacos/pizza/spaghetti sauce....we found they needed to be cooked up/crumbled into things to enjoy, and the cheese as well is terrific crumbled onto salads etc. We definitely recommend to others!
My partner and I have been wanting to check this place out for ages and whilevisiting Victoria from Toronto, finally got the chance. They didn’t disappoint! Even their drink selection was great- Caesars had recently been added to the menu, which was a very pleasant surprise. Everything we tried was so flavourful and amazing, and all the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. The only thing we were upset about is that we couldn’t take any pantry items with us- we’ll be placing an order in the future for sure!
Awesome food and absolutely lovely people!I used to order from their monthly meat box for years until I moved overseas, so I try to stop in every time I visit home. This last visit they really exceeded my expectations - food, location, menu, everything feels like it's improved. And it's not just a fantastic restaurant, but a great place to go and pick up some prepared plant based meats to cook at home. We ordered the Mac n cheese, meatball sub, chicken sandwich, with a side of bacon. All fantastic.

I recently bought a Stuffed Beast to serve at Easter…it was delicious and super easy to prepare! The Beast arrived chilled and with cooling gel packs, and came with a recipe for a basting mix so there was no guesswork on how to season it. ?? The Beast does have gluten in it, so be aware of that if you’re considering ordering one. I do not have that particular issue, and will definitely be ordering another Beast!
The ultimate comfort vegan food! So tasty and delicious always, my wife and I make sure to get their products and a good meal from them every time we’re in town. Also got their vegan meats delivered a few times to bring the goodness to us !Today we went for the first time at their new location and not only the ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and amazing, but the service also exceptional !We also left with 2 free chocolate chip cookies graciously given by the team just as a thank you! Highly recommend !
I have ordered 2x now…. We have enjoyed everything! The pepperoni is outstanding…. A must for our Italian vegan pizza :) and the brats cooked on the bbq were delicious. Products are still cold when delivered. Very good experience. I highly recommend The VERY Good Butchers
I have gone here time and time again for years now and am never let down, I have brought non vegan friends here and they also say it’s the best vegan food experience they have ever had. I’ve tried many items off the menu and love trying new limited options. one of my faves is the loaded Mac n cheese. Very friendly all over really good experience
I have heard of this place from some friends and coworkers prior. I went in today for the first time, and I WILL be coming back!Amazing food, and I am not a vegan. I had the Smokey burger and fries. The fries were very nicely seasoned and super flavorful.Both the Hostess/Order-taker and the Server/Food Runner(?) were so nice and helpful!The overall interior vibe is great, though a bit squishy if you plan to stay and eat in. Very hip and modern.I will be recommending to friends and family, and I will be back. :)
