Food here is top notch. The flavour profiles of the dishes transport you to South East Asia.Dishes I highly recommend:- Assam Fish- Char Kuey Teow- Beef and Basil Fried Rice (ask for Daniel Spicy level)- Basil Ribs- Tropical Beef (their version of Ginger Beef)too many others but totally worth a try!
We had a delicious dinner at the Tropical Island. We ordered Lemongrass Chicken, Stir Fried Beef with garlic sauce and Singapore Curry Noodles. The staff was very courteous and service was good.
There's something everyone can find to like here! The pineapple rice and the crispy beef were delicious.

Read some reviews, thought we would give it a try. Tip...they close at 2pm. So no late lunches. So returned a few days later for dinner.Decor is, let's say minimalist, but super clean. Service was very good. Food was great. Priced well. And the booze was happy hour prices....and I am a happy hour condesour.Nice flavor, not greasy...Definitely will return and recommend!
So far the best meal Ive had all year! Food was so delicious, an exposion of taste in every bite. Service was friendly and prompt. This small cuisine of asian flavors had lots of menu choices. Pinapple fried rice is a must have! I highly recommend dine in or take out!
The restaurant would not make a substitution to accommodate an allergy and my order was canceled through skip the dishes. I have to wait 5-10 days for a refund because they refuse to accommodate their customers. I suggest that you go to one of their many competitors.
We have eaten here a few times in the last year and they have not skipped a beat. Food is delicious, menu is varied. The owner/cook keeps the menu interesting- try his specials

I've been eating here regularly for a few years now and it's always been great food and great service, and the owner and staff are good folks too. Their Char Kuey Teow is amazing, as is the Mixed Seafood Platter and Beef Noodle soup. I've tried most of the menu and not been disappointed - would absolutely recommend this place to everyone!
