We stopped here for drinks on our bike ride around Victoria. Great service and great drinks, spectacular views of Mt. Baker over the water!

We had the Tofu Donburi and Chowder soup. Pricey but amazing, just like the view and atmosphere on the patio. The Tofu Donburi was full of surprises and delicious (with spicy Korean red pepper sauce). The chowder was large and came with lots of bread. A very filling meal for two! Our server Sheralynn was kind enough to tell us that the soup would be enough for a meal. If we had ordered more, we could not have finished it all. Overall experience: A+

Went for a late lunch today. It was not busy. Sat on the patio and was greeted right away by the server. We needed a few minutes to decide on the menu thinking she would return shortly. We waited 15-20 minutes and she never came back. We were starving and decided to leave. Did not see her on the way out. Will never come back.

The pricing and portion size were simply inexplicable. Two of us ordered the ahi tuna poke bowl. When they arrived at the table, all four of us were gobsmacked as the only thing on the plate was a small handful of chunked tuna and a few squirts of avocado, covering about a third of the bottom of a bowl. That for $24. While I appreciate that pricing in a world class resort hotel is high, one cannot help but feel ripped off. A bowl of seafood chowder was also $24. MG

Its got amazing veggie burger . Its one of the oldest nierbourhood pubs and has a nice views . Yup they got outside patio with heaters

Place is beautiful.Service is very nice but food was very mediocre. I would understand the price due to being in a hotel but was expecting the food to be a bit tastier.

The atmosphere here is really lovely and the staff are wonderful. Very friendly, attentive, and efficient. I have been here 4 times and have yet to have a decent meal. The food is pricey, even by Victoria's standards and much higher than most pubs. I wouldn't mind, but the food is always mediocre at best. $21 for Gochujang chicken that was basically an appetizer and literally had nothing with it. No greens, no sides, nothing. It tasted ok, but nothing earth shattering, which would warrant the hefty price. My friends had the burger and the fish and chips. Both people who ordered the fish and chips said it was overcooked and bland and the fries were a bit under cooked. The burger was $26 and honestly looked like a slider. Tiniest burger on earth. He said it was tasty, if not a bit under seasoned, but on par with a fast food burger, just smaller. Unfortunately, I think this will be my last time here. Sad, because I very much like the setting and staff, but I can't continue paying $100 for a meal for two that makes me feel like I would have rather made a grilled cheese at home.

We enjoyed having lunch here on the outdoor deck on a beautiful spring day. Our server, Nolan, was the best! We had the charcuterie plate, a couple glasses of wine, and truffles for dessert. All were very good. A bit high priced in our opinion, but we still enjoyed it.

We had tea here waiting for our room at Oak Bay to be readied and then breakfast the next day. The breakfast items we ordered (pancakes, omelette, coffee) were very well prepared. The waiting staff were helpful, pleasant, attentive. And I'd missed the baseball game the night before, so was pleased to see Blue Jays in 30 on the TV screen. The prices were what you'd expect in a place with sea and mountain vistas. On balance, strong recommend if you are in the area but don't make a special trip.

Had a really excellent experience at The Snug Pub. I didn’t have high expectations for this pub within the hotel but it honestly delivered!I had the chicken and risotto main course. Chicken was tender, nicely seared. All the flavours were comforting and spot on.Service was friendly and genuine. The views are beautiful from the restaurant during the day but dark in the evening so you can’t see the ocean at that point.Cocktails also exceeded expectations. Appreciate the use of local distilleries. Thanks for the lovely meal and drinks, will be back!
