We are vegeterians and there are no many options on the menu. also the food was less then average. We ordered pasta pesto and pasta stuffed with riccota. The service was ok.
Food took awhile but service was excellent as was the food. It was worth the wait. Was impressed with the care they took with the Gluten free option
This was the cheapest dinner we have had during our travels in Canada but also one of the best! Service was relatively fast given how busy the restaurant was and our server was lovely, really helpful and friendly. We were so pleasantly surprised by the standard of the food and the portion sizes - everything we had was great tasting. I only wish we had tried this chain earlier in our trip!
Amazing food and great service from Tristan our handsome waiter, seems like he enjoys what he does and that’s what we like to see. Enjoyed our visit will definitely come back again sometime.
We have been to Victoria several times but this is our first visit to this restaurant. After our experience, it certainly won't be our last visit. Our server was Kimia and she was vey nice, friendly and attentive. The food is excellent and the prices are very good compared to some of the other restaurants and pubs in Victoria. You also get salad or soup, ice cream and tea and coffee included in the price of a meal. We were a party of 4 and two of us substituted clam chowder instead of salad and it was really good. Another substituted Caesar salad and was very happy with it. We also all shared an appetizer of calamari. We are kind of snobs when it comes to calamari, and this one is right up there as a very good one. Our only complaint was that the dip for it was very thick and difficult to scoop. My husband had Steamed Mussels as his main. I had Linguine with Clams (gluten free pasta). One of my sons had chicken fingers and fries and my other son had spaghetti with Meatballs. The restaurant sure didn't disappoint.
Great service and food was delicious. We sat inside by the patio so we got a really nice breeze. My daughter said the noodles were on the harder side but I was ok with it.
Server was super on point. Attentive but not overbearing with great timing when checking on us. He made sure to get me or my wife's eye whenever our kids asked for something while still allowing them to order and ask for themselves when it was their turns. Food and appies were great and made in great time. All in all we had a great dinner out at this location.
We always make a point of visiting when we are in town. The food is consistently good and is a great value. The service today was above and beyond; Evan is an amazing server.
I would have given a 5 star review except for the hostess who refused to answer my question about being able to have a quick meal. She had an attitude, and behaved as if her boss told her 'don't ever promise quick service!' which was bizarre. Besides that, the service was great, and yes it WAS quick. Food was fresh and high quality, nice quiet dining area, server was attentive.
We got a table overlooking the bowls club with an open window, so we had great ventilation and a great view! Really liked the 'inclusive' stuff, like the salad, bread and soup and we had a really nice meal for my husband's birthday - probably the best value meal we've had during our stay in Victoria. It's clearly very popular, we were glad we booked a table! My pasta with pesto was great! Service was good - all the staff was friendly and smiley. Would visit again!
