Visited this place on a busy Friday afternoon with my friends. The options were good and the food was okay as per buffet standards. However, desert options were kind of depressing. Pretty non existent consisting of a sad kheer and a dessert that we couldn’t figure if it was Indian or western. Portions of bread were so small that we had to order 4 times. Would not visit this place if we find a better alternative for Indian buffet.
My best friend recommended this place while I was in town so we met up with my cousin and enjoyed the buffet lunch before I left town. It was absolutely delicious - some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had and for the price/value it cannot be beat. I will be returning every time I am in town. Service was extremely friendly and the atmosphere is so lovely. Decorated extremely well. Love the robot too; it took us by surprise! Not sure what the pistachio/coconut type pudding was but both me and my friend were obsessed!!
If you like mild Indian food then go there. Served tater tots instead of pakora. Goat meat was tough. Chicken boiled. Waited more than 15 minutes for food. Had to ask for buffet food and dishes. Could be better.
Fanfastic decoration. Good foods with great price. Highly recommend.
Ooh this place is delish! Amazing butter chicken and samosas are classic. Nice spice levels on other dishes too. My boyfriend and I like spice and they can deffs deliver on that. Will be ordering again.
Well prepared food on the buffet. A robot brought us the food to the table which made for an unique experience.
First time visit, primarily to try their lunch buffet. Nothing great, but not bad either. Service was decent. Dessert options were pretty non existent. Food was good.Was surprised with the robot coming to deliver our fresh bread (Nan, paratha etc).Place is in downtown Victoria which is a blessing, and currently one of the few giving an Indian lunch buffet experience.Would be willing to give it a try again, next time I visit.
Today at Mantra downtown we came to enjoy the buffet. The service and food was amazing. The ladies were doing excellent job. They were so busy but I would give another star for there best service and amazing food.Will visit next time to see robbie✨
Good food if you dine in, they don’t really care about the taste of the food for delivery.All the times I had the food delivered the taste was disappointing and totally different.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Mantra! All the food we ordered was good and I especially enjoyed the Naan bread, best I have ever had. It was done perfectly and not to thick or doughy. Service was good and we thought the robot waiter was pretty cure bringing food to the tables.
