This truly is a hidden gem. They serve up a mean cappuccino and always include a little cookie. This place is chock a block full of charm. Enjoy a freshly baked in house pastry and the wonderful staff. I can't say enough.

The carrot cake is absolutely delicious and a perfect latte to accompany it. What a wonderful experience! The name The Hidden Gem couldn't be more perfect for this cafe, they class themselves as a treat shop they are that and a whole lot more! I'm excited to try the home-made plant based ice cream next! There were many happy people relaxing while enjoying the sunshine while I sat and enjoyed my coffee and cake, it was just the perfect afternoon. And finally the young ladies were absolutely lovely and very accomodating. It will definitley be my local cafe for my Victoria vacation :)
This is a charming little place, well hidden! You have to keep your eyes peeled for the tripod sign on the sidewalk of a side street off of Cook Street, in the Village. You order at the wicket, pick up your order on a small table.There are fine teas from Silk Road Teas, and coffee from Cafe Fantastico, so all local. The treats are good, too. There are small tables and chairs in the tiny patio, as well as in the courtyard.
We have been wanting to try out this place for awhile now and finally stopped in this weekend. It’s a super cute little place with very friendly and welcoming service. We had the sausage rolls which were quite delicious and also shared a slice of carrot cake which I really enjoyed! Thanks for a wonderful experience! We will be back ?
This place is exactly as advertised - a total “hidden gem”. Such lovely coffee shop / bakery. We enjoyed the outdoor seating on the beautiful sunny day. Staff were very friendly and most importantly our lunch / treats were delicious! We will definitely be back soon to try more items on the menu.

BUT also, the place you want to post about to keep this beautiful little spot alive and well and thriving for forever!!!!!I can’t believe I didn’t know this place existed after going to Cook street village almost once/week for since before it opened.
