The food is always ok here. The fries are not the best though. Service is not fantastic by any means. The breakfast is good… for that I may recommend. One thing that caught me off guard upon asking for a extra waffle- once I received the bill I realized I had been charged 9$ for a single extra waffle. Also the waffles were extremely soggy. Kind of wish I would have been given a heads up on that. Otherwise decent food!
Front of House staff are attentive. Orders were promptly taken, coffee and water were refilled regularly.Food is mediocre. I had the buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. The chicken lacked flavour and the overall meal was lacklustre.My wife ordered the pulled pork benny and there was the eggshell of half of egg in it.The cooks in the back could use with some additional training.There are better spots for breakfast and lunch in the area
Love this place.Consistent quality and flavour. A great place for a comfortable experience, just like home with out the clean up.Great with allergy and intolerance’s to foods.The staff are great and real. No surgery sweet pretending to be your best friend, just real.
So after being told how great this place is I finally had the chance to go to the Fountain Diner. Being Easter Monday I wasn’t sure how busy they would be but they were able to seat me on their heated patio. The Fountain Diner is a quaint little spot with what looks like about 30 seats inside and another 12-15 outside. The menu has a great selection of diner food. Their breakfast menu is available all day too.I opted for their fried chicken burger but noticed they had a Louisiana style fried chicken Benny so I asked if they could toss my chicken burger patty in the Louisiana hot sauce. The burger was hot and fresh and very tasty! This chicken burger was served on a nicely toasted bun and had nice fresh lettuce and tomatoes and diced pickles (perfectly suited with the Louisiana hot sauce) and was a very good portion. The fries were hot and crispy and lightly seasoned and also a very good portion.The prices are right in line with what you’d expect to pay for good quality food. And the service was very good. From the person that seated me to the servers that took my order and brought my food, er tone was friendly and efficient. I’ll definitely go back to the Fountain Diner.
The service was excellent as always. This time a tried something different (Chicken Waffles) and I really like it.
Had the tradish eggs Benny. They used real shaved ham, my egg was poached medium to perfection, and the hollandaise so creamy ?the coffee was fresh and not too strong. I was so impressed by their hasbrowns which were fried sliced potatoes that were delish.
I have never ever seen a bad place like here !!!!2 bad experiences:First the lady who is telling she is the manager is the rudest person i have ever seen. She made you feel unwelcome and ask us to leave only because we ask if by change there is an other table available because my little one is cold !!!!!! There were 2 tables empty inside and no line but she only said to me it is a rule we can't change table go to your seat!!! I was really shocked and couldnt figure out what to say at that moment i have never got a reaction like this in my life.She was so angry, rude and was out of control !!!!Secondly there were a lot of mices coming out from their storage in their little yard. And the waiter was going inside to the storage and was doing nothing i am not sure if it is food safe to eat there !!!I can't see any point to visit and pay there if you can't be able to see any good service even a kindness and a quality food... i wish a new restaurant will be running there instead soon.
Very polite staff, good cleaning of tables. We had lunch, and everything was very tasty, and hot! Their beef gravy is super yummy! I liked that they had real, homemade beef patties for their burgers!
Really friendly staff, seated quickly even with a weekend morning breakfast rush. Food and coffee were solid. Great experience overall.
Great for breakfast meetings, Lunches and take out. Friendly staff, great owners, good food and good pricing. Love the signs and memorabilia throughout the restaurant.
