The Drake has become our favourite Victoria craft beer eatery. We've been several times this year and have never been disappointed. The staff are friendly, the location is great with a nice covered patio. They have an interesting selection of craft beers on tap.What really distinguishes the Drake though is the great food. These type of places typically have boring bar food, the food we've had at the Drake wouldn't be out of place at a nice restaurant. As well as the usual pub fare they have unusual choices like duke confit and a lentil dish - both taste great.Highly recommended

Huge fan of this joint. I appreciate their ability to create a stellar beer menu that is ever changing. The environment is warm, relaxed and welcoming. A special shout out should be given to our bartender Nathan who went the extra mile to look after us this evening. Very impressed with this place every time I visit.
I never leave reviews for anywhere but in this case I have to. Great looking place with a very comforting ambiance. Extremely friendly staffs and what I would assume would be one of the owners was always attending to all guests/customers. Selection of craft brews is not immense but hits where you need it. Substance over quantity. Didn't have any food but did see some plates from other tables and it looked delicious. Next trip to Victoria I will definitely return.

Grilled cheese Kim chi sandwich and a brisket corn beef ?…. Great service and also heated patios…. Nice open space with a great atmosphere. Bartender was super helpful, she did a great job
My husband and I were in Victoria for a quick trip and the Drake was our favourite meal by far. Their bread is absolutely delicious.
Great food and beer and a really nice, cozy atmosphere. Mostly snacky foods like meat and cheese plates but they pair really well with the beer selection. Good place to sit and chat with friends.
I LOVE the atmosphere here.. I'm pretty sure this is going to be my go to spot for any dates or any such outings in the future. It's perfectly setup for having a great conversation.The music is subtle (but good),the staff are lovely, and the food is excellent. Plus the menu is mostly sourced from ingredients local to the island.One Cool thing about The Drake Eatery:If chess is your thing, then I'd recommend you hit this spot with your favorite set and play buddy. It's not like tournaments happen here or anything like that. I just saw a pair playing when I was there and it just seemed like they were having a really good time.
Good atmosphere and location, friendly and helpful staff, great food, nice BC cider, would highly recommend
