I ordered assorted sashimi to go the other day for dinner. The sashimi were pretty fresh, and the service was great.The only thing I want to complain was, they put tamagoyaki (sweet egg omelette) in my sashimi, then the fishes tasted sweet, tamagoyaki tasted fishy.Plus I haven’t seen any restaurant in the greater Victoria that put tamagoyaki in their sashimi combo (people can request for tamagoyaki in the sashimi, but I didn’t, they didn’t ask me either)
The food is amazing. Eventually. There are 2 people prepping sushi? I couldn't quite see from where we sat. But the food comes out eventually. For 2 people, they did an amazing job. I have come here with only a few people and service was much faster, but still staggered. The monkey brain is best in the westshore. Hands down! And the roll selection is excellent. I do wish water/tea/etc was offered upon seating or brought quicker than the food, but really, these are small critiques.
I like their portion of food and its taste good. I just put 4 cause its to much veggie in teriyaki meal also and their ramen it wasn't taste ramen I hope they need to improve for good recipe for that.

This is our neighbourhood sushi place, and I am so glad! I love this restaurant. The quality is consistent, the menu is comprehensive, and the food is great.
Nice foods and friendly staffs. I liked all of foods especially spicy seafood Udong and creamy mayo shrimp. I will visit soon again.
It was great to have korean style chicken. The spicy one is my favorite one now and my famil enjoyed their soy chicken. I would order them on our thanks giving party. I love korean style chicken so much.
Great place. Staff is super friendly. It has a nice calm vibe even with a fair amount of people there. They aren't just Japanese food either, they have some Korean dishes like bulgogi. Overall, I enjoy coming here. If I had to find a negative or two, then I'd say the price is high and some specific dishes lacked quality.
Great food and amazing service. Staff were attentive and friendly. The ambiance is awesome and welcoming while the restaurant was clean and well kept. The food was great and prepared quickly. Granted, there were only 2 other patrons in the restaurant so service better have been good. Highly recommend.
