Waited for my food for over 40 minutes when we got it we were missing half the order so we waited again until they got the rest of it and I got home and we were missing another item. Was hopping to have a nice meal on my girlfriends birthday it kinda killed our evening.I Do not recommend this place plenty of other sushi restaurants in town I would much rather go to.
A Pleasant SurpriseAfter my lunch experience at the Admiral Rd location I did not expect such a satisfying quality of sashimi in the chirashi don.The salmon had a great texture. Their portion of tuna was very generous, in part because I didn't want tako. Tomago was very juicy and flavour was appropriate. The lemon was not needed. I associate lemon as a foreign way to mask "fishiness." Their fish was not fishy so the lemons were for my water.I found it unconventional that there was salad mix between the rice and sashimi but it worked well with the tuna.Oh and the rice was right on point.So I encourage people to come and try out Sushi Field. Maybe get some take out and head to the beach. Sushi by the beach is a uniquely authentic experience.
Honestly love this place so much I’m not from here and love visiting everytime I come the sushi is so good and everyone is super friendly
Great sushi at reasonable prices. All the staples and a few specialities. Sushi was fresh and delicious.
Just ordered takeout and the sushi is WONDERFUL. Fresh, wild salmon and yummy agedashi. Hard to find good t/o sushi but you guys rocked it!!!
I so want to like this place as it is local, however after three visits over 18 months I have determined I will not return. I tried this again last week and while I was eating it I so wished I had gotten grocery store sushi on the other side of the parking lot. There really is no flavour and the food is nothing more than substance.
Very poor experience. We ordered delivery and they ignored instructions and added fish egss and didnt add spicy sauce as requested. The sushi had to be thrown. When we called for a redelivery, they said they don't have their own drivers. We are not local so we would not be benefited by a store credit. They admitted it was their mistake but they couldn't do much for us. The sushi itself the deep fried roles, were giant, to the point where i doubt you could have eaten them even if their weren't dietary restrictions.Had high hopes.
I tried quite a few sushi places while I lived in Victoria and this one was by far my favorite! Definitely in my top 10 sushi places I've tried all over Canada.
Delicious vegetable tempura and seared tuna sushi. Great service. Got takeout but wish I'd eaten in because it's a pretty cute and cozy spot.
Go there if you wana feel yourself a piece of trash. Staff has no etiquettes how to talk. This time kept me waiting for 25 minutes and last time for more than 50 minutes whereas the staff told me order is goin to be ready in 5 minutes. Its all about respect not only Sushi. #RespectForEveryone
