Absolutely delicious. I've been here on multiple occasions and everytime it's a perfect experience. Friendly and accommodating staff, delicious drinks, and incredible food! They rotate their specials and most of them are to die for. 10/10 recommend!
Great poutine (we got the Basic Bee - loved it!). Had the pierogi sampler and loved trying the different flavors. Fun classic bar ambience.
We happily discovered Sult while recently in Victoria for vacation. We can’t say enough about how good this restaurant was….food was fantastic (especially the sauerkraut), service was impeccable and atmosphere was great. As for the pierogi’s…..they where out of this world….fluffy, tasteful and melted in your mouth (go ahead and splurge and get bacon and sauerkraut added)….you can’t ask for anything else, if you are a pierogi fan. As for the price…..a real value, considering costs these days. Sorry we didn’t get to try other items, but based on the pierogis and sauerkraut….the rest of the food must be as good. Try it….you will not be disappointed.

Average food. Poor service. Sneaky sign for weekday happy hour out front on a Saturday.
Not your grandma’s pierogies. So, think pub, and for bar food they serve outrageous pierogies that range from “standard” potato/garlic/onion to outrageous sushi daikon wasabi. All cooked to perfection with an incredible assessment of dips. We also tried the short rib Yorkshire pudding and poutine (Shredder on the menu) the Yorkshire was killer. The poutine, although good, was not great, as the cheese wasn’t as melty/squeaky as it could have been. Arrive hungry, portions are very generous.
How did I not know about Sult? I decided to try it walking by last week … I love pierogis and was expecting like an old Ukrainian grandma making traditional pierogies … I was wrong … in a good way. This place is cool … great tunes … casual but awesome staff …, amazing atmosphere … perfect bar to sit at and have a cocktail and dinner. This is my 3rd visit in a week and it keeps getting better. Well done Sult!
Quite simply delicious food and amazing creativity in their menu. Our server seemed a bit preoccupied at the beginning but ended up friendly and efficient. Can't wait to go back
Well, I have had the good fortune to travel across Canada quite a bit. Nostalgia has frequently motivated me to look into local restaurants that specialize in Eastern European food. In particular the restaurants that offer pierogi as a specialty on their menus. I can say without doubt that in my personal experience Sult serves the best pierogi. The dough is perfect and the fillings are very tasty. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending this restaurant for those who enjoy this type of food.
