Iced matcha was just straight up milk
I usually grab a drink on the way to work or when hang around near downtown. Most of the staff are polite including manager who works hard. However, I noticed a barista, her name was Yenna, she needs to learn North American style customer service. She seems a bit rude when calling customers name (bossy too) but the most part she says ‘thank you, have a good one’ to Caucasian men only. This is not a surprise attitude in Victoria, but you gotta remember all the customers pay. When I was waiting for a drink for 10 minutes, that was my observation.
Quick and friendly service. Food and beverages as you’d expect from Starbucks.

Why is there always 1 person making coffees and 2-3 staff just standing around watching her/him?

Today, June 28th, around 8:30-9 am. I placed a mobile order. I walked in stand right in front of the mobile pickup counter for 1-2 minutes. A barista that time were washing dishes or something and then a Caucasian gentleman with a suit walked in stand behind me. This barista turned around acknowledge that guy behind me first pointed at my drink if that's his. I told her I was here first. She ignored. No apology gave him the drink first. I told her again I got here first. She doesn't care. I was already upset walked back confronted her. She said I didn't show up when she called my name. What kind of excuse is that? I do not feel she treated me and the other gentleman equally. She's blaming me?
