Good coffee, late etc... interesting tea selection.Some tasty pastries and other nibbles available.Local art for sale on the walls.Local musicians come together throughout the week for open stages.Everyone welcome atmosphere.What's not to like.

Spiral Cafe is a true gem of Vic West. The service and atmosphere are top notch.
We wanted to treat ourselves to a nice warm drink. We decided to go to the Spiral cafe as we hadn’t been there for over two years and we used to go quite regularly.Unfortunately our experience this time was a complete negative. We ordered a decaf Americano and a hot chocolate. Both drinks tasted extremely watered down and therefore tasteless. We had to leave them unfinished. We will definitely not be returning.

Guy working at the front counter should not be working in a customer service position or needs an attitude adjustment. Was super grouchy, short and all around made us feel unwelcome. Seemed annoyed he was working. Would highly suggest customer service refresher course. Really dissapointing experience.

Casual, inexpensive cafe on the way into town. It reminds me of some of the places on Commercial Drive in Vancouver. My soup was really good.
Arrived looking forward to trying their breakfast buns shown under photos. No breakfast options to start. We order a ice frappe - it tasted dry an powdery on the inside. A quarter into the drink my wife smells it and the whip cream appears to have soured. Overall very disappointing.
