if ur in the hood .. n like poutine ... I saw an enormous pile of it head over to a table ... it was a good old fashioned pile of fries... gravy.. n cheese ... ridiculous in a great way ?my salmon burger n fries was also AwSuM... and waitress was great
A nice varied menu, something for all of us. We recommend a reservation. Service and atmosphere are typical neighbourhood pub, cozy and quaint. There are even a few covered and heated outdoor spaces.
Just happened to be in the neighbourhood today because I’ve moved close to the neighborhood.Saw the Smugglers Cove pub sign and decided to stop for lunch.I ordered the smugglers burger with cheddar and mushrooms,fries and gravy.The fries just so happened to be hand cut.OMG it was delicious. A hand made patty with lettuce, red onion, pickle and tomato.Cheddar and mushrooms were an addition.If you’re looking for a great meal come and see them here in Cadboro Bay Victoria.Cheers ?Dino
We stopped by for lunch today and it was disappointing. I ordered the most expensive item on their menu list steak and fries for 30$ and got plate full of brown fries, looked like overdone but tasted moreless fine, with a little piece of tasteless beef that wasn't seasoned just had more fried things on top and plastic sauce from bottle. Other than that other meals where fine and ambience in the pub was nice too. We were served by attentive waitress.

Food was very good, staff were excellent. Stopped in while driving in the area, good parking , reasonable prices.
Oct 30th. Arrived at 12:00, ordered at 12:30. 1:21, no food! No acknowledgment. One waitress and one very scary hostess in a brown dress that looks at you with daggers in her eyes that could murder. Feels like an early Halloween
Great food, very friendly staff perfect location .Background music is not loud so you can actually have a conversation with others.

Sitting here for an hour now and still no food. Took 20 min before they even took our order.
