I really liked this place! I went on a Sunday evening and it was pretty empty. The service was great, and very quick. The food was delicious, one of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. I sat on the patio and there was a beautiful view of the river, flowers down below, and lots of hummingbirds to watch. There are some billiard tables, pull tabs, a bar top, overall just a good time! I will definitely be back.
This is one of my favorite destination pubs. Handy to the Galloping Goose trail, with bike parking and lots of car parking. Has one of the best vegan hybrid menus around, with good selections for plant-based or omnivore options. Staff is always friendly and helpful.
I had the seafood spaghetti and their lightest beer on tap! Delicious!Apple crisp for dessert! Normally served with ice cream but it was broken that day!Our waitress was friendly and attentive!
We celebrated a family birthday and had a wonderful time. Great food and service with a special thank you to staff. Also there were alot of gluten free options on the menu.
Had a nice shady spot on the patio as requested. Both of us had salads but different kinds. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. Service was prompt and friendly as always.
Coming in the menu itself looks almost exotic with terms like Guac and Wild Cod unfortunately the food was underwhelming. Wild Cod was a pre-battered piece that resembled the boxed fish you get in the freezer aisle. Promised Diakon in the slaw but did not really see any. Seafood spaghetti was so ordinary and the fries with bone gravy was also sad. The prices dictated quality and creativity however prepare for a big letdown if you go here for dinner.
I find their menu to be very accommodating to the variety of food preferences, allergies and sensitivities that are found these days. A favorite with myself and friends. Also appreciate their military discount. Staff are always friendly, atmosphere is comfortable, the booths near the bar and the tables by the fireplace are my two favorite spots. It is also a "kid friendly" pub with families offered an area if dining with minors.
We thought to try this pub out again as we haven't been for a couple of years, we were really surprised at the new menu options. Not only was the menu completely updated but the food had some real flare and amazing flavor. Every bite we took was a shocker. Next level pub food done right!! Well done on the upgrade 6 mile. You're doing it! We will absolutely be back.
