So fresh! The best sushi in Victoria! The service is wonderful and the price is worth it.
We have been going to this restaurant since they opened. By far the best and most affordable sushi restaurant in Victoria. The staff are all so sweet and friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious.
It was a bit depressing- we were looking for either the chubby dumplings or this other noodle restaurant and did not find it. Tough luck - but sometimes you get lucky! After some edamame and tempura starters we had some of the best sushi east of Tokyo. Absolutely recommendable. Loved the complimentary green tea and the big bottle of beer, too!
The BEST sashimi ever!! Tuna just melt in my mouth. Buttery taste, super fresh and not frozen. Its not in my picture because we finished them so quickly…salmon was good, too. Their rolls were just okay though, I’d get all sashimi. Friendly and fast service. Reasonably priced, I’d say it’s a steal from the quality of sashimi we had. The same food in Toronto would cost two times more.
Food was fresh and plentiful. Service was attentive and food delivered in a timely way. Very good green tea. Number 5 sashimi/sushi combo was huge. Island roll very good.
Good sushi, fast service! I give it 4 stars as it is casual/ not top refined decor or finished or elegant plating , but it's great value and they do a few improved than typical.places, like having eggplants and mushrooms ( rather than just root vegetables) in their tempura. They have the basic drink (2 wines sake cold or hot), but not extended menu. I would go back with friends or casual eat :)
Best sushi I've had in Victoria and it breaks my heart to say that because the place beside my house is excellent as well. Service is great and I can't believe how good the pork was. Veggies and fruit was also very very fresh and miso soup is excellent.
Best sushi, staff and snug place for dinner. Been coming here since our first date.

Was recommended this place by a friend. Maybe we chose wrong but it was very disappointing. Chewy bbq squid, tiny portion and no flavour. The special rolls were very small and bland and did not live up to the menu description.Really quite a shame as I was looking forward to trying this place. Won’t be going back unfortunately.
