Amazing sushi for a good value! They open at 4pm-9pm and like not a soul was in right at 4pm so had order taken and food delivered quickly! They also have an awesome all you can eat deal that is $40 you get two hours to eat but whatever you waste you have to pay at full price (only fair i.m.o)

Japanese??? More like Japa-ease...If it wasn't for the spacious and relaxed ambience this restaurant would get one star. But I was looking for a restaurant, not a yoga studio. As someone who's Japanese when it comes to sushi two things must be right 1. Rice and 2. Sashimi.1. The rice was hard and tacky, like the aftermath of a clumzy lover. This means that they did not have enough water while cooking the rice or, the cooked rice was sitting on heat for too long. I suspect the latter because the rice had a tan, like cooked weinner at a nudist beach. Earlier when the waitress asked if I wanted sesame oil on my rice, I thought something was wrong.Dear white rice eaters... sesame oil, butter and mayonnaise do not go on sushi rice. Sushi RICE vinegar is mixed in with sushi rice. I know, shocking but that's how the Japanese do.2. The sashimi was all over the place. It was as contrary as Goldilocks but was never just right. Some of the fish was frozen. The octopus tasted fishy which means "off". Cuts of tuna were falling apart, a sign of a dull knife or being too rough. The salmon was okay. But the texture was off because of the angle of the knife while slicing. Okay quality salmon is everywhere on the west coast.Would I go back here. No. Should other people go here. Yeah sure. If you are someone who does't like raw fish, but prefer sushi that is more North American than traditional Japanese. Their menu seems to have options for those who may not be as adventurous or traveled.

Five of us went for all you can eat and thoroughly enjoyed it! Food was great. The staff were run off their feet but still were attentive to us. This is our 4th visit and it certainly helps to know how to order for all you can eat. While exploring the Menu we wrote down the initial dishes we wanted and gave to Server Whilst eating the first wave of dishes we wrote down new items and repeat items we wanted and handed to Server and so on. This saved time for everyone and kept food coming!! Some of us at table like Sushi and others the Tempura so we balanced the dishes accordingly. Highly recommend!!

All you can eat Japanese food. Food is pretty good for an all you can eat place and the food is made to order. Last call for food is at 9pm so make sure to give your self time.

I Just bought it today.. This is spicy samon sashimi which costs 16$ And Takoyaki costs 8$ without tax... The sashimi really small piece and not even decorated nicely with some veggies!! Takoyaki not even hot at all and looks like old already... Really disappointed and never order again..

The food is usually really good, but the service from some servers really lacks, we had to pay for ginger every order was 2 dollars at the all you can eat, when it never has before. Really disappointed that we watched others received what they wanted in a beautiful display and ours seemed to be thrown together on the plate. Server was short with us and had the time to bring us more than enough water but avoid us when we asked for tea and drinks. I recommend if you come here you get what you need and get out

I have come here 3 times for All You Can Eat (available after 5pm). Impressively extensive menu. Extremely good service. Each item is prepared fresh. Absolutely delicious and 100% worth it. My favourite dining experience in Victoria!

Our server and sushi were so wonderful! The ambiance was also very beautiful, would recommend the Udon. Will definitely come back!

So good! I orderd the saahimi lunch box and it was fresh and yummy. It is a peacful environment and the staff are friendly and very helpful. Def recommend! I started eating before I took the photo ! :D

When you pay a fairly low fixed price for all you can eat, only a fool expects gourmet quality. It is good quality sushi and very good value. Some people don't understand that when you order, you need to tell them how many pieces of each type you want. A group of us have been going to Shiki, once a month for about 6 years, for all you can eat sushi. Every now and then, we try other places but we keep coming back to Shiki. The staff are friendly and the service is fast enough.
