Saltchuck recently catered my wedding with 200 vegaterian pies! They were delivered with there own warming oven which kept them warm all night for snacking. The pies themselves were fantastic! The crust was crisp and flaky. The fillings we chose were fantastic. A personal favorite was there curried lentil pie. Saltchuck was also so easy to work with! They were easy to contact, and were very accommodating when we had to postpone our initial wedding date due to covid allowing us to just move our catering plans till the next wedding date. Another fantastic touch, is when we were deciding which pies we wanted, they provided 8 complimentary testing options for us to choose from. We also recieved so many compliments from our guests and have asked them to leave other reviews. All in all a 5/5 doesn't describe how great our experience was at Saltchuck!
Delicious and authentic NZ-style pies, in a huge variety of flavours. The butter chicken pie is out of this world.Really friendly staff, and a bright, welcoming space in a funky vintage building.One of my favourite spots in Victoria.
Great place with fresh hot savory and sweet pies coming out from the kitchen. The pricing is good. We purchased many different kinds of pies for later on. You could eat there, too!

Last time I had a Cornish Pastie this good, I was in Cornwall. A Pastie is a type of meat and vegetable pie.Saltchuck pasties are baked on the premises, and it shows. The people who baked these, really know how to make an excellent Pastie.Having tried a few, I would not hesitate to drive past every other pie shop in town, until you reach the Saltchuck Pie Company. This is the place for a pastie that is plump with high quality, tasty ingredients.The pastry was just perfect for taste, texture and thickness. The meat content was much higher than the veggie content, and all in all, it was an excellent small meal. These bakers have paid it forward, to earn a well deserved Five Stars. I'll be back.

Hands down the best pies in the city! Both sweet and savory pies are award winning. My personal favorites have been the Thai Green Curry, Beef & Bacon, Banana Cream Pie and Cherry Blueberry. Not only is the owner passionate about his products, he truly cares about his community and his customers. I hope Saltchuck remains a staple in our community for years to come! I travel all the way in from the Westshore for Saltchuck! I was also pleasantly suprised to see the pies on the menu at a local winery ...if you haven't tried Saltchuck pies, I highly recommend!
