Recently ordered two large pizzas as we usually do every other week. Well these pizzas were not what we were use to. Virtually no toppings. Ordered extra cheese and didn’t even get regular cheese. The toppings were so lacking the pizza was mostly crust and dough.Seeing we have been ordering pizza for decades now. I took the time to send an email explaining my experience. Only to bring it to their attention. Not looking for a refund, only hoping it was a one off. Well didn’t even receive a response.Being a business owner myself I find this poor customer service and will take my business elsewhere.
We've been visiting family in Victoria, and ordering here a lot. The food is amazing! Their fettuccine Alfredo is perfect, and so is the calamari. If you get take out, be sure to check out their daily specials and two item discounts.
You have a Bellini (slush drink) on the menu but apparently don’t want to order straws for them. I awkwardly drank it and used a spoon. Never had this happen to me anywhere ? The nachos were a small portion and burned.
This place never disappoints...pizza is the best...portions are generous...service is awesome...prices are comparable...menu is varied and the restaurant is spotless and welcoming . Highly recommended.
Eating out post-covid has been an interesting experience because the cost of everything has gone up so dramatically. So it was quite a nice treat to have such an entertaining waiter that was eager to make our early dinner visit top-notch. He was very attentive and you could tell he genuinely enjoyed his job. I did not take pictures of my food this time around but I'll just say that they have some of the best fries I have had in a long time! Very crispy on the outside, and thick with a good flavor. Was tempted to order a salad, which I will probably do next time I go! The people at the table with me ordered pizzas and they sure did look amazing. Happy with the menu selection and looking forward to visiting again! Massive thanks to Jacob for making all of our days with his excellent service! Bravo Romeo's!
I went here on pizza pasta night and it was quite pleasent. The prices were pretty good with the special on and the food was delicious and a good place to hang out and chat. The staff were also very good. No faults in our order plus when the people across from us were being rude they shook it off and took their order. Overall I was quite impressed by the service and quality. Unfortunately it is quite expensive when there is no deal but I did not mind because we did not have to pay it. Quite lovely.
It has been years since I've been to Romero's and it definitely wasn't what I remembered it to be. I feel like the quality has gone downhill. Ordered the calamari (never again) and a met lovers pizza, I'd give the pizza maybe a 3 out of 5. Service was good, friendly.
Food was decent but the service was terrible. The waitress forget part of our meals and didn't bring them until we were about to leave. She seemed completely enthralled with the table beside us but didnt bother to even ask us if we wanted drink refills. Took forever to get our check so we could leave. Not very impressed which is unfortunate because I've heard glowing reviews from here ??
Called for pickup order back in December and asked for pasta with meatballs and extra sauce. Got home and there were no meatballs which are an expensive add on and you only get 2 now not 3. Phoned and talked to an employee that credited me for the meatballs on my next order. Last night again ordered pasta with meatballs and sat on hold 3 times before they got it figured out to use my ‘meatball credit’. When I picked it up the front desk employee said they would ask the kitchen to confirm that they made sure there was meatballs this time and they came back and confirmed yes. Much to my amazement when I got home there were no meatballs and the extra sauce I asked for was clearly not added either. When I phoned the Langford location I got an employee that needed proof that they could SHOW the kitchen before they would credit me again….all for a dry lousy spaghetti….not what they used to be back in the day for quality or service…don’t wast your money….go to El Greco instead.
