The restaurant wasn't all that busy for dinner time on a Sunday but the service was quite slow. (Possibly understaffed? ) It took us a long time to get our food but at least it was hot. The BLT Chicken was missing the bacon but our server brought us a few pieces on a plate... My French onion soup was tasty but overpriced for the size and there not a lot of broth. Everyone who had a hamburger was very happy with their selection.
need to stop leaving dirty mops and pail in washrooms. Also leaving vacuum on floor by our booth was in bad taste.
I have been to Ricky's a few times now. Each time I have went was great. Food was delicious. Service was great each time. The food came out hot. No mistakes. I tried the cheese omelette one time. That was really good. I loved their season fries. I just tried the apple and cinnamon waffles, and stuffed hash browns. It was really good. I did take the picture after I mixed the hash browns. I couldn't see the sour cream, cheese and bacon. Once I mixed it up it was all there. It was delicious. I enjoyed the waffles too. Again took the picture a little bit after it came out, so the whipped cream has melted down a bit. It looked great when it first came out. Our waitress was really fast, friendly, and on top of everything, even while it was busy... Athena was her name. I would recommend this place. Over all great experience and good food.
Nice Quiet Spot.The Southern-Style Chicken Tenders were delightful and so were the Stuffed Hash-browns!They did charge me extra for the dipping sauce and the menu says its included so I think maybe the server wasn’t educated on the POS System.
Fast friendly service. One of the few places where we can get our much beloved liver and onions.Good portions and a nice mix of vegetables and topped off with bacon and gravy. Thank you so much.
The servers name is Athena and she is an absolute rockstar!!! She was hopping all over and making it looks so easy. Everyone was taken care of and the food was amazing. Even though they were super busy we got all of our food and drinks in prompt time and I could not be happier about our service!

I just recently went to Ricki's twice in the past week and a half. My first time experience was great. The server was with me to take my take out order swiftly. I have to say it was a very busy morning but they were very polite and helpful with my order. I ordered the GRANDFORKS BREAKFAST which is the best but I had to order strawberries and whip cream to the order and seperate them, so as my pancakes wouldn't get soggy. The meal was perfect. Still warm when I got home. It cost me 22$ for GFB- 3 EGGS•3 PANCAKES•3 BACON•3 SAUSAGE• HASHBROWNS AND TOAST* Plus I added the strawberries and whipped cream.Service and food were great. Unfortunately the next time not so great. There was no pancakes with my order and barely any strawberries and whipped cream. The server was a different one from the first time but he gave good service.
For years, I was a regular customer at this particular restaurant on Douglas. That changed a few weeks ago in December, 2021. I called the Manager (I think) over to tell him that the sausages of my breakfast were BLACK. Instead of saying, 'I'm really sorry about that," he says, "I know." I forgot to tell him that I would have needed a chainsaw to cut them, but I did tell him I couldn't CUT them. He tells me that he could take them back and bring new ones, but they won't be quite as cooked. Hearing that, I said no thank you (thinking about salmonella). He inadvertently led me to believe that any new ones might be infected, whether he meant to or not. To keep me as a customer, all he would have had to have done is maybe take a little amount off my bill, AND TO SAY HE WAS SORRY! As I said, I have been a customer there for YEARS. NO MORE!!! Also, I did NOT leave a tip and the waitress obviously got mad at me as she grabbed my bill and handed it to me without saying thank you. (I had told her about the black sausages). I went to The Blue Fox. Their sausages were cooked perfectly and were NOT BLACK. December, 2021 Shirley Slager Victoria, B.C.
The food was okay. Nothing fancy but I paid $4 for bacon that never came with the meal. I ordered thru skip. Also no cutlery was provided. The eggs were weird shaped and had burned pieces on it like they cooked it in the same pan as bacon... anyway I wouldn't order again unfortunately. Also the benny sauce was super bland.
