We got there when they first opened. (We'd noticed that a massive line was the norm, later in the day.) I'd seen it recommended so thought we'd give it a try. They were surly and the fish tacone gave me indigestion.

This cozy seafood shack on the wharf lived up to the hype! The food was delicious and totally worth the long lines. I tried the BC halibut fish and chips, and the tempura cod tacones, which were both amazing, but it was the chowder that I kept returning for. Needless to say during my five day visit to Victoria, I ate here three times, it was that good! The outdoor seating on the pier is a plus especially since you get a front row view of the Inner Harbour while eating fresh, tasty seafood. I highly recommend this eatery if you ever visit Victoria.

We stopped by around noon, finding a very long line, which we expected. Decided to return later hoping it would be less busy. Back after 3 pm to find a line just as long. Ordered halibut & chips. Once we finally ordered, food was up pretty quickly. The fish was fine, though nothing special. The chips however were overcooked & hard as rocks! I was also surprised & disappointed that they do not serve a wedge of lemon, which I consider essential with fish. For what we paid ($56), there should be lemon.

First time having fish&chips and this place set a pretty high Bar that's hard to cross! Had the halibut and code and actually preferred the cod. The fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Also ordered the chowder which was also one of the best I've had! Highly recommend this place and the long wait time totally worths it!

This was by far the #1 thing for us in all of our visit to Victoria! We loved it so much we came back, twice!! Each time we visited outside of rush hours and still had to wait about half an hour so plan accordingly but don’t let the queue discourage you! The fresh BC haddock fish and chips is to die for and the chowder was some or the best we’ve ever had! Soooo worth

Best fast seafood place in Victoria. Amazing staples like Halibut and chips, but so much more. Try the chowder, incredible! Tuna is unbelievably tender and tasty. While the line is long, it is worth the wait,

While not easy to locate, when there you discover a line! It was worth the wait; the batter was terrific and the fish perfectly cooked. The chips were excellent as well. Classy, no, but good food at fair prices.

had to wait for at least 30 min, but the food was awesome! the batter on the fish was so crispy & delectable. loved that the chowder was dairy free. in fact, the whole establishment is dairy free. the family inhaled the food with much delight!

Long line up but worth it! Get there early if you are hungry. Portions are large! Malt vinegar is available along with smiles.

You will probabky have to stand in line here, but it is totally worth it. The fish is very fresh and cooked to perfection. The breading was so crispy and the fries were great.
