Pizzeria Prima Strada few paces to the south of Victoria dentist Cook Street Village Dental
Best pizza in Victoria, thin slice wood oven roasted and great with the chili oil.
We’ve wintered in Victoria the past five years. We try and get to Prima Strata one evening a week. It’s great food, great atmosphere and great staff. We’ll miss the pizza and moreover the staff til we return again. Thanks so much.
I love this place. Ingredients are top quality as well as the food. It is the closest I know to an Italian pizza here in Victoria. However, this place is for grown-ups as there are not too many things for kids.
Ordered Pizza here due to all the rave reviews I saw. Pizza was okay at best. Had great flavours, but my pizza was definitely under cooked which made the pizza very doughy and wet. I also asked for one of the toppings on my pizza to be swapped for something else which I was told was fine , but when I got the pizza the topping in question was just removed with no replacement topping added.
Seriously the freshest, best pizza. No matter the toppings- always delicious. Meatballs and salads are always a must. The team here truly cares about service and creating a wonderful dining experience. On another note, I’m training for a marathon and the to go pizzas are my go to fuel the night before a long run. Keep doing what you do Prima Strada!
I stopped to get a pizza to go. Service was excellent and very friendly. Paid what I thought was a lot for a "medium" pepperoni pizza. When I got it home (4 blocks away) it was only half cooked, very little toppings and cold. Once I rebaked it, I could only eat 2 slices. It tasted horrible. I have never in my life thrown pizza away prior to this. As I said, service was outstanding but price was too high and product was inedible.
Ordered a salad to accompany our to-go pizza and it was truly pathetic. A sad wilted lettuce mix with a dusting of Parmesan, no other vegetables and a basic balsamic dressing for $14. Pizza is good but if you’re looking to add sides just pick up a bag of pre-made salad mix for $4.99 at Thrifty’s and you’ll have a better salad.
Keen pizza enthusiast visiting Victoria from a vacation in Vancouver. Best flavour pizza of all so far. Loved the sausage and pepperoni - so full of flavor! Great wood-fired crusts. Only thing some might critique was the floppy centre dough that was perhaps a little undercooked, but absolutely delicious!
Used to be the best pizza in town, but the quality has deteriorated and the prices gone up. The last couple of pies I've had there, I could see they're using less ingredients, with the width of the crust much larger. Meanwhile, instead of a $14 Margherita it was more like $18. So with tip, it's over $20 just to take away a personal margherita pizza. Bad value.
