I love ice cream, and Parachute is by far my favourite ice cream shop in Victoria. They have a variety of flavours, both 'typical' and 'unique' and you can find their pints at a bunch of local stores around town. I have always been greeted by friendly staff.Recently I went to parachute and I was disappointed to discover they have once again increased their prices and certain flavours are also an extra charge. I also feel they may have decreased their serving size as well? I understand that the cost of everything has increased, but going for a fun tasty treat is slowly becoming further out of reach.
Tried Parachute Icecream for the first time today!! Very friendly, patient & accommodating staff, quick service and delicious icecream. We will definitely be back! ?????
Tried this local place last night and I’ll already hooked! Ice cream and a mushroom pie! The crust on the pie is THE best crust I think I’ve ever had! So so good! The birthday cake ice cream is beyond yummy! Highly recommend checking this place out! Sooooooo good!
One of my favourite ice cream places in Victoria. They always have a great selection of flavours and there’s often little pieces of cake/cookies in there. The consistency of the ice cream is always smooth and chewy. Had the oatmeal chocolate chip and loved it.
Probably the best ice cream I have ever had. Brown butter brownie is phenomenal.
My personal favorite ice cream place, and a rock bay staple, pic unrelated
Amazing ice cream. Everything is from scratch, even the waffle cones! Best in Vic
Friends in Victoria told us about this ice cream place. It is definitely quite delicious. You can tell the ice cream is artisan style. Ordered the pumpkin pie and strawberry cheesecake. Absolutely tasty! A couple things to note: 1) the portion. I ordered single scoop with half half flavours. It is definitely more like two full double scoops. that said, high CP (cost–performance) value! 2) the hours of operation. It only opens until 7pm (unlike Vancouver places).
Absolutely love this place. They charge you $5 for one single scoop, but when you look at your cone or your cup its more like 3 scoops. Such great flavours, wonderful staff, and an awesome ice cream place to check out. They even have vegan ice cream!
This spot is a bit weird out in the industrial park but we stopped in while on a journey to the breweries out that way. Great ice cream, especially the kahlua and amazing homemade waffle cones.
