It was great. Like I doubled down on my cholesterol meds good. Super service, food was excellent, will come back next time we're in Victoria.

Wonderful customer service, Can’t really say much about the food as i only got small fries but i throughly enjoyed my fries. They were crunchy and perfectly salty.

Some of the best fish and chips I've had since moving back from England. The batter was perfect, the wings succulent, the fish juicy and scrumptious, prawns and spring rolls fantastic and the fries oh the fries!!!! Lovely people there as well

absolutely delicious! ordered takeout and everything was packaged well and the service was great.some of the best fish and chips i have ever tasted ????

My husband, our 2 year old, and I went here for dinner tonight. They were really great with working around our requests (steamed veggies for the little one, extra tartar sauce). Food came quickly, the server was attentive, the washrooms were clean, the price was good, all in all great experience. They were out of ice, but I don't think that's not really enough to drop the review by a point. They had great distancing figured out and seemed diligent about cleaning while we were there

Fish and chips were acceptable. Clam chowder was runny and bland. We were seated for over 45 minutes before being served, while other patrons received their orders. The staff failed to communicate wait times and avoided costumers. Staff prioritized Skip the Dishes orders. Do not eat in the restaurant itself

The fish and chips are good. However, I won’t dine in the restaurant. It took us an hour to be served. The clam chowder is horrible

Had a craving for some fish and chips. Read some reviews on line. Had to try it out. Cold rainy night in Victoria. The restaurant was right around the corner from the hotel. Just a little hole in the wall but sometimes these places have the best food. Ordered up some tea and some fish and chips and was pleasantly surprised it was not bad. Service was good. The staff were very friendly hello and good bye so I was impressed with the service and food. Price was reasonable considering what you pay for fish and chips in other spots. So I just went from very good to excellent.

Walked by this place for many years. Decided to pop in … a friend of ours let us know that they had recently updated the decor. Can’t say the degree of improvement, but it was well light and with booth style seating. Carpet was still dingy and a bit sketchy for a restaurant. We had the 2 person fish and chips combo. A piece of halibut and a piece of cod. Batter was a bit heavier than my preference but the fish was cooked perfectly. Nice. Also came with 4 prawns. All together, a good package deal. There are some Asian dishes on the menu. This reminded me of why we never ventured in … it was a strange place and menu.

Beautiful old building that shows it's age in a nostalgic way.Cod and prawns were excellent, tasty and well cooked.Halibut was overcooked and dry.Chips were hot and fresh.Pleasant staff.
