My stay at this hotel was quite the adventure. The bed I slept on here was on a piece of plywood propped up on top of some shelves. The room felt like one of those compact rooms they have in japan minus the cleanliness. The room although it cleaned felt unclean and uncomfortable due to the linty blankets which me and my brother decided to sleep on top of instead of in. The best part of my experience was the fire alarm that woke everyone up at 2 am. Everyone on the floor was awoken and the reason this happened was because someone decided to smoke inside their room. Happy Canada day I guess.. This whole experience cost us a good 158 $ dollars (per room). And there was no apology or compensation for the type of service we were given. If anyone decides to stay here don't expect much luxury.

the beds are uncomfortable pillows are brutal no hot water no restaurants around no laundry facility no elevator homeless shelters are better

I stayed here for a couple of weeks ten years ago. the staff was really friendly and the open mic sessions were fun.

Ocean Island Inn has really affordable and budget-friendly price options.

friendly staff secure entry staff know the area and can help with any questions you may have!

I was impressed by their great customer service, after booking online at 2245 we got their last room, they do a good job cleaning things, because the shared bathrooms looked like we were the first ones to use them, even the bathtub (and in a stickler for bathtubs) didn't have a ring in it.

Great for what it is.. The People make the difference! Wonderful!

Not very hygienic honestly. That was my main concern.Floors & cutlery both had grime. Please clean it up
