This was the first place I decided to try food in Chinatown and I was pleasantly surprised. I am a picky eater as I have stomach issues but the waiter Collin (hope I spell his name correctly) was very patient and the cook delivered exactly what I was looking for. It was delicious, fresh and generous amount. Recommend this place. It was clean and in a nice location as well
Last year experience eating here was amazing, then.... this year, it truly is garbage. I called them and spoke to them of how it has changed and asked why. The actual product is cheap and meat is stringy dry. They said they changed it some and offered me 15% off for the next time. I told them I would rather pay more and get better taste and quality, I will not go back.
Ordered dinner for 6 for my husbands birthday. The food looked very bland, unappealing. Not enough food for 6 persons. The shrimp was under cooked, the chow mein was a clump of mush. Dinner had no flavor. Very disappointed and will not ever be going back. We ended up giving the food to the dog.
Delivery was handed to me in a soggy bag that dripped all over my clothes and through my building. Upon 'opening' the bag found two heavy containers of food set atop the Chinese greens (now sans any oyster sauce). Cardboard containers also soaked and disintegrating. Called the restaurant and they asked for my phone number. Still waiting for a call from owner...Baking soda taste noticeable in dishes containing meat.
My family and I came here while on vacation. The food was great, and arrived quickly, but my favorite part about the experience was the staff. I mentioned I had a peanut allergy and the staff handled it well. They also had a great sense of humor and we enjoyed chatting with our server. Great food and it wasn’t too expensive either.
Customer service could be little better..we were 4 people..when we asked for water once we were done..not sure how she calculated and only gave 2 glass of water ?. Worst food. Frozen egg rolls are better than their oily egg rolls(no eggs in egg rolls lol just oil ) . Chicken and veg noodles both are tasteless...Fried rice was not cooked properly. Worst food quality.Wish we would have read their lowest ratings reviews before entering to this place.
Just ok! Food came fast. I ordered combo with sweet and sour pork, veggie chapsoy, and crispy prawns… i had hot and sour soup first, then in less than 5 minutes my food came right away, there’s nothing wrong but I think its not freshly cooked, its like the food you get fr a food court. I really like the soup!
Very mediocre Chinese food, the soup was too sour and vinegary and the noodles were bland. The beef hot pot was relatively well prepared. Considering that there are better choices in this area for authentic Chinese food, it's best to avoid this restaurant.
When in Victoria we always enjoy dropping by this place. The food is fresh, hot and tasty. The friendly service and ability to meet dietary restrictions is awesome.
Ordered a won ton soup, beef chow fun, and almond chicken for delivery. It was fast, hot, and absolutely delicious I wouldn't change a single thing. Generous portions too. I will continue to order from this long standing awesome restaurant in the heart of China town ??Post noteI went back 2 weeks later got the same thing but sweet and sour chicken instead of almond. Just as delicious!! I'm a picky.... snobby at times eater. I like what I like alot and I love, love, love this restaurant. I picked up the order this time instead of delivery and the person who greeted and gave me my order was so kind and awesome too ❤️❤️❤️
