Very impressed with the food here. Service was excellent and attentive. We will be back next time we visit Victoria.
The bossam and pork belly in spicy sauce were good. The squid was way too hard. The other dishes were ordinary. Not the type of restaurants we will remember.
NARU is my favorite Korean restaurant in Victoria.Everything I have had over the multiple times I have gone has all been great. My dinner guests have always loved their dishes as well. The menu has a lot of traditional Korean dishes you'd expect to see. The variety is great. The vibe inside is one of a kind for Victoria. It reminds me of a palace with very high ceilings. Perfect place to come with friends and family.
It was very tasty! One of our dishes was quite a lot for the two of us to share but we managed to eat most of our meal. It is a very nice little restaurant that has a little seating/eating area near a smaller bar on the main level when you first walk in, and then you go down carpeted stairs to the main dining area. The wall we sat against was a rock wall - very cool looking ?, and the view was lovely looking out to the harbour.
Great and authentic taste. Tasty side dishes, juicy fried chicken, crunchy fried prawns, large portions of soup and bibimbap. However, add-on is not allowed in the soup. The only thing that disappointed me was the service, there was nobody offer me a cup of water until I asked.
The service was great, both attentive and friendly! On a busy Friday night they were able to squeeze us in at a table for two without a reservation. Much appreciated! The food was tasty, fresh, varied and reasonably priced, seemingly attracting Victoria's young Korean population! We appreciated the assistance we got with the choices available. We would definitely return.
Very good food. The view as well the decoration inside the reastaurants were nice. Good service.
NARU unfortunately does not have a single gluten free option; therefore, I was unable to eat anything. I hope the owners consider adding a gluten free option or two in the future. Anyways, I came here for my friends birthday dinner and they all said their food was phenomenal. The portions were huge and flavourful. I ordered drinks (the sample plate of soju) and I really enjoyed them! The grape was my favourite.
Excellent experience! First time there. The three of us sampled a wide range of dishes and everything was fantastic. My favorite, though, was the chicken wings. Crispy, light, and perfect. Service and ambiance were great. Highly recommended
This place serves great Korean dishes. We tried Kimchi stew 김치찌개 and other dishes, and those were all better than other Korean restaurants in Vancouver downtown where I live.
