We keep on passing this restaurant many times during the many trips to sites and lunches etc. So we had to try it. The sign on the building said buffet restaurant, but it wasn't. Maybe it's because of the pandemic they cut this out.So, we asked about the buffet with we don't do it. Same with the next and next and so on people coming in. We almost walked out but lucky we decided to stay. We picked a number of items that looked good to us, which included hot and sour soup.We didn't realize that they served all items at once. We were disappointed at this. When we said something about this, they said that people like being served all at once. We suggestion is order your soup. Then order what you want next. This way you can eat the way you want. Or all at once, if that's the way you like it.We ended up taking the soup home with us for a later time. Plus some of the leftovers. Maybe tomorrow's lunch? Enjoy this wonderful tasting hot fresh food, too!
I thought May Gold was my favourite but had a horrible experience this time, in a pretty weird way. My boyfriend and I always order multiple soups, and have many times, but tonight we sat down to eat the leftovers (unopened) from last night and he bit down on a large, sharp metal shaving (see photo). The sensation was so awful that he thought one of his teeth had exploded, I’m not kidding. I’m so sad because I literally told someone this was my absolute favourite restaurant today and now I’m worried for our health and safety because we have already eaten the other soups from the order. We had barely taken a bite and the rest went in the garbage. I feel awful leaving a bad review but this was very upsetting.
This was pretty bad overall. Very greasy and slimey, but somehow still without flavour.
So good! Best Chinese food in town. We love the curry mushroom fried rice. It is outstanding. Everything we try is delicious. And reliably delicious every time! Never too long of a wait for delivery. Highly recommend!
The food is very good, and I know that all small business have been under pressure the last two years, so I don't want to be too critical as I own a couple small businesses also. Having said that, we have ordered twice…and both orders got screwed up. I highly recommend checking your order before you leave the restaurant……the food is very good however.
They say Buffet on their website and outside but as of Dec 2021, they do not do it. Their website does not say their hours, but they appear to open at 3:30 pm. I gave this place 5 / 5 mostly because I see so many 1 / 5 but these are all at least 3 years old. A lot can change in that time. It was okay food and the dinner for 5 provided a lot of left overs after the 4 of us ate.
Decent food. There's not a lot of Chinese food places in the west shore, this is my usual place

Food is decent enough but I tend to stay away from any buffet style restaurants , even pre- covid
I was wondering why this restaurant has so low stars . When I arrive there I found even they mentioned they accept dine in but truth is they only delivery and take out . I asked them why you not update they only smile without explanation . So poor service even not staring serving me
