Well I've only been to this place a couple of times, most recently for breakfast at lunchtime and it was perfect! It was obvious the cook cared about what he was putting out. Best breakfast I've ever had in a restaurant and when I got the bill it was $7.50! What? Also inexpensive tasty drinks! Will be back and telling everyone!
Our food was colder that my ex's heart. And going downhill just as fast! Service was ok.
Warm atmosphere, casual, just loud enough to be fun but not too rowdy that you can't sit down and have some dinner. One of the best beef dips I've had.
Very helpful in making my beer selection, gave several samples. Felt that they genuinely wanted me to be satisfied. Tasty and generous portions of typical pub grub.
Delicious strawberry gin fizz drink (not sure what is was called). Wings are a great deal at $8 lb - lots of flavors to choose from. Longstanding staff so the management must be doing something right!

Fast and friendly staff. I had a monster of a burger.The Bad A$$ Burger - Flame broiled beef patty, 40 Creek Bourbon BBQ sauce, cheddar, Swiss, bacon, black forest ham, fried egg, mushrooms, crispy onions and a breaded pickle with a side salad and fries.Good salad, really good fries and that burger fantastic.
Great food, good cocktails, good prices on beers. Service is good as well. They have a pull tab machine which makes a pub a lot more fun imo. Ambiance is nice too. Music bingo and trivia night is fun. Probably my favourite place to go for a beer
I had been to Maude's for brunch before and their mimosa flights are amazing! This pub is good because of the amazing brunch menu and the good quality food. But last night was a very bad experience. I originally typed out a detailed experience on what happened but I think some bullet points wrapping it up would work much better. It is listed in order of importance:- Due to the service we decided we were not going to leave card tip (I understand that the tips gets divided between front of house and back so we were thinking about leaving a small cash tip before heading out). When I paid with my card the waitress asked if there was anything wrong with the service I responded that it was not as attentive as we would have preferred and we were originally planning on ordering some more drinks but could not. She called us rude for not tipping and as she walked away told us not to come back.- Everyone was able to finish their meals before I even got my fork for my coleslaw- It took 10 minutes for a glass of water- We wanted to order more drinks but could not find our waitress- Our table was very sticky- Waitress walked away without our order TWICE (I put this last as I want to give her the benefit of the doubt that she didn't know we wanted to order food, but still should have asked or waited until we looked finished ordering)I rarely write reviews but was very disappointed at this experience. I totally understand that sometimes people just have bad days and it happens to the best of us. But I wanted to share this experience as a heads up if you go here YOU HAVE TO TIP. Else they will get mad.
The liquor store here is the best! Small selection but best stocked alcohol! Its like Costco, they do not have much but what they have, its exactly what i am looking for. Faxe 10%, this is the only liquor store that carries Faxe 10%. Perfect !
