This was literally the best meal I can say I’ve had in over a year in Victoria. My partner and I both fell in love. Top 5 meals I’ve had in my life… easily.Just wow… as someone who loves food and trying new restaurants I had never been here and have no affiliation to the place and can honestly say this meal was truly outstanding (garden curry and Mom’s special ginger beef). I haven't been here for twenty years. I am glad it is still in business. But really it is so dark, so basic, so depressing with blue carpet, not much light. Old tables, old chairs. Paper napkins, no drinks menu. And the food is okay. Maybe the Pho is great. The spring roll and beef kebab was so so. Beef chewy, felt it like it had been left to sit. Not hot and sizzling. Spring roll wrapper crispy and great but filling mushy and way too much. Sorry. Love Vietnamese. This places needs a makeover.
Visiting from Calgary, and I have never had spicy pho this good! Normally I would have the satay and hoisin sauce on the side, but with the spicy pho, I didn't need to add anything except the bean sprout. SO GOOD!
Food was excellent. 4 star for the long wait when there was only 3 tables waiting for food. I guess if they had extra help in the kitchen it would've been 5 star for me. Would come back again
Found this little spot that served excellent food and the service was very good. It was great for lunch and was quiet but also family friendly.
Had the pleasure of stopping in at this off the beaten path gem. Amazing chicken curry and the best Pho I have ever had. Also had great conversation with “redheaded” Kim ? which was as good as the meal. Highly recommend.
Great food. The spicy beef Pho is to die for. Our favourite Vietnamese place in town by far!
What a wonderful find! We were in Victoria for a little getaway and found this place. My hubby is super picky about his pho and he can’t stop talking about how great the spicy beef pho was. We also ordered the pork and prawn soup (great broth, lots of veggies and meat) and the Mom’s special (amazing layering of flavors, can’t get this dish at too many places, and love that this came with a whole mandarin on the side). Would come back the next time we’re in Victoria!

A hidden gem! All the food we got was absolutely delicious, we will be back! It closes pretty early so just keep that in mind.
