I ordered from this place yesterday for the second time and they had left a sizable piece of saran wrap in the California roll. Luckily I didn't swallow it but they should really be careful around this.

The first time I tried Kissako, it was the best sushi I had ever head. Two years later, I still feel that way. The food is always so fresh and unbelievably tasty, and the owners are incredibly friendly. The Tuna Tataki is out of this world and the Black Dragon Roll is to die for.
My favourite sushi in Victoria - maybe my favourite sushi, full-stop. The duo that runs Kissako are very friendly, and always looking to accommodate in their small space (pre-Covid). This restaurant feels like a neighborhood gem - you’ll be remembered on your next visit (there will be a next visit). I’ve brought several sushi fanatics here to dine, and everyone has left impressed, and eager to return!
Awesome sushi right in my backyard!The rice from this place is top notch and the standards are solid. I don’t usually go for the fancy, Americanized rolls, but their Semo Semo was awesome and I’ll definitely be having it again.Thanks for the tasty dinner!
One of the best sushi places I've visited. Really good, I enjoyed every bite, we ordered a variety of food and we weren't disappointed at all. I would highly recommend.

Kissako is easily the best sushi restaurant in Victoria. Everything they serve is absolutely delicious and made with love. I've been eating here for years and not once have I been disappointed. You guys rock!
