Mexican Food Trucks Caterers

We were very excited to have a food truck cater our wedding in the summer of 2022. When researching options we discovered Kattia’s Kitchen and we are so glad that we did! We really wanted to support a local business and when we had our first tasting we knew that Kattia’s kitchen was a perfect fit for us. Kattia is professional, organized, and kind. She offers incredibly delicious cuisine, and a menu that could be adjusted for all dietary needs. We had vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, meals that were safe for severe nut allergies, and delicious meat options for those with no restrictions. We were able to add plates, cutlery, and a busser to elevate the experience. Guests were able to go to the food truck, order what they would like, and they quickly received their gorgeous dinner. It was a HUGE hit with our guests. Folks are still raving about the burritos, tacos, bowls, and ice cream burritos sandwiches. If you're looking for a reliable, professional, delicious, and fun option for your wedding or event, I would highly recommend Kattia’s kitchen authentic Mexican.

I have been anxiously awaiting trying this, and had the opportunity at the PFC game. I had a burrito and my wife had the chicken quesadilla. I ordered the rajas burrito, but realized about a third of the way in (I kept hoping to get to the good stuff I guess) that I got a vegan burrito. It was terrible -no taste or heat at all (I don't mind zucchini, but surely they could have more flavour somehow). However, I gave them a three star rating because I didn't take it back (I had waited long enough at that point). I tried my wife's quesadilla, and it was ok but I can't say it was worth the lineup or the price. I am sure some of the other menu items are better, so I might try them again sometime.

As their truck logo depicts, their tacos are “de muerte”, meaning “to die for”.I had the opportunity to try their delicious tacos and quesadillas during this year’s Canada Day event in downtown, Victoria.I highly encourage you to check their instagram @kattias.kitchen before stopping by their main location in Elk Lake and check their posts to know if they are going to be catering somewhere else for an event around the city.Hats off to Mrs. Kattia for spreading authentic Mexican cuisine in BC.

We had a burritos from their food truck. Both were bland and mine was filled mostly with white rice. The burritos were over priced and disappointing

Had the food truck once and then we had a small event catered and the food has been amazing every time! Will be stopping by for lunch soon.

Serves espresso coffee! I haven’t tried their coffee yet.Nice Spanish speaking staff. Had a pulled pork burrito and my bf had a chicken burrito. It wasn’t bad but wasn’t something I wanted again. Would’ve liked some crunchy veg inside + spicy salsa. Will try other items.

We stumbled upon Kaitta’s Kitchen at the Lagoon last night. It was the end of the night, so she was sold out of a lot, but whipped up a quesadilla and a crispy burrito. Let me tell you, it was THE MOST DELICIOUS Mexican food I have ever eaten. Kattia is very sweet and friendly, and put lots of love into our dinner. 10/10 would recommend!! I know I’ll be going back for sure!

Hands down best tacos in Victoria!!!!! Have had them on multiple occasions and they are absolutely delicious!! I have also booked them for catering and Kattia was so kind to me on the phone, and via email, explaining all the catering options. She was the most accommodating person ever, helping coordinate dietary restrictions and swapping out a salad option for dessert!! Highly highly recommend!!!!

Wonderful selection of homemade Mexican dishes in the freezer or fresh to take home after a swim, library or time in the gym at the Commonwealth

We really enjoyed a take home taco kit of Chocinita Pibil. The chocinita pibil was delicious and it came with all the toppings and salas. Also the best tortillas I have ever had in Canada. Thank you Kattias Kitchen!
