Had not been there for six months. It's better than ever. Great menu. Fair prices. Large bowls. Super delicious. Perfect service. What more can I say? Some very good Vietnamese restaurants in Greater Victoria. For me, this is the best. The mixed meat vermicelli (48), mixed pho (26) and Viet crepe was what we enjoyed on our visit June 26. All great.
You can't question the food if Vietnamese people working in the hospitality industry are frequent diners. Great rice noodle bowls. The meat is charred properly with a hibachi flavor while still being juicy and finger licking good. Nice sized portions and well priced. My negative comments are I need birds eye chilli with my Vietnamese food and they don't have it. Also when 2 people order pho, it would be nice to double the size of the accompaniments which no Vietnamese place seems to do ?. Overall a Vietnamese staple for Victoria!
We were visiting Victoria for only two days and had to come back twice for the same dish just because they were so tasty!!
Pls try the papaya salad and the spicy rolls!
I will recommend this restaurant!
The beef rice is not recommended, the beef is almost well done and taste bad. Too much ribs in the beef, and some small pieces ribs are even a bit hurt for my teeth. No soup in the meal. The food shown in the pic is 18 dollars.
A wonderful and authentic experience! It's so nice to have great tasting pho noodle soup ? away from home. I ordered the specialty pho and the broth was very delicious. They serve jasmine tea upon sitting down, which I always liked and would expect in a true Vietnamese restaurant. Fast service and friendly people. Owner is Vietnamese and has the authentic recipe for all to enjoy. I would definitely come back again when I'm in Victoria. Thanks for the great experience!
I had good experience there. The food was nothing outstanding but it’s a typical Vietnamese pho that you’d expect. The spring roll was quite tasty with the peanut sauce and it was a good combo with the large pho. I’ll also try the papaya salad next time I visit
The pho special is delicious and hearty. Although we ordered small bowls, the contents varieties and quality remained more than satisfactory. If you visit this restaurant, make sure you try a little bit of the chili oil on the table. Tasty!!
Really enjoyed the food there! Love the crunch in the salad roll, such a bonus and add on texture to already flavourful roll. Also the peanut sauce has a bit of chocolate taste in it. It is a bit sweet for me by I don’t mind it.Green leaf’s fish sauce is so delicious! I don’t know how they make it, but I’m thinking of stealing there sauce recipe lolTheir pork chop is always the to go one! The best! The beef salad flavour was good, but the beef was kinda overcooked, a little bit hard to chew. Besides that it was great!Definitely gonna come back and try more stuff next time
