Such an amazing unique place! Every time I visit Victoria I have to come here. I’ve never seen another vegan buffet out of all the cities I’ve lived in and visited and I wish so bad that they had more like this! The food is so flavourful and they have such a variety for a good price! Also such a cute atmosphere and it is so homey. I wish I lived closer so I could come here more.
It's so great to see an all-vegan restaurant that dates back to 1990. I tried the buffet, which carges by weight and has some delicious options.The staff were very nice and there was ample sesting both inside and out. The water dispenser was helpful, too. I'll definitely come back.
I had the buffet, fresh juice and borscht soup. Everything was good, priced reasonably, lots of options to choose from. My friend had a Noodle bowl he said it was good. I will come back for sure.
Visiting from Vancouver. Stumbled upon this place. Have eaten lunch here two days in a row. What a cool concept of being able to try so many different things. Everything was great. Try the longevity stew. I’m so glad I did. Insane depth of flavour.
Bit expensive for the buffet (definitely worth it though) but their vegan shakes/smoothies are fully customizable for no extra money and very competitively priced, great price on the coffee and their desserts are very nice. My favourite is the berry vegan cheesecake. Better then a dairy cheesecake. Decadent but leaves you feeling saited without being bloated or heavy like with most dairy cheesecakes.
Followed through on a suggestion to go here for a vegan meal was not disappointed! Friendly staff, wide variety of delicious vegan choices - soups, salads, entrees, desserts, etc! It was hard to decide, but finally settled on curried yam soup & cornbread, Caribbean tofu, tempeh, kale and fresh homemade slaw. They have a bright spacious dining area so you can sit and have your meal in a relaxed setting. It was also very nice to not be subjected to invasive questioning about one's personal health status in order to dine in this restaurant.
Lovely wholesome buffet spread that you can pick and mix, and pay by the weight. Soup we had was a little under seasoned that day.
Have heard of this for a very long time. I've finally had an opportunity to visit since move to Victoria. Wow, if you are vegan or macro this place should be an everyday go to for basic amazing meals. Soup was awesome, amazing selection of desserts and selections from the modified buffet style service were amazing as well. I heard a lot of great things about the pizza. Will have to come back.
This place has amazing vegan food for cheap! The assortment is amazing! Their praline brownies are some of the best I've ever had and I very much love their falafels. Seeing as it is a buffet style restaurant, some dishes are better than others and I have had some instances of food being cold (potato wedges in particular). Other than that, this place is a must for any vegans in Victoria!
