The barista was very nice, but the food and drink were pretty bad.For starters, the food case was sparse, and the prices were quite high for very small portions of premade and plastic-wrapped items, even in our inflated world. For that price I'd expect much better and fresher choices. My breakfast bun was at least a day old, made with processed cheese and cheap packaged ham, and microwaved instead of grilled so the English muffin was gummy and damp. The espresso in my mocha was bitter, and the premade chocolate milk was outdated and funky, leaving it undrinkable. (Maybe a refrigeration problem?)I'm happy to support local small business, but when your entire business is food and drink, you need to do them right or people will just stop coming.Having driven away before trying my purchases, I tried to call the business to tell them about the milk, but the business has no listed phone number. If they don't start taking food quality much more seriously, I doubt that this business will still be there next year. You build a food business with superior product that brings your patrons back, not with margins from inferior ingredients and smaller portions that make your patrons shop elsewhere. The only way I'd choose to give Gonzales Coffee another chance would be after they announced a major overhaul of their offerings, practices and values. For the record, I left a 25% tip as the food quality was not the barista's fault.

Great friendly service with complimentary dog biscuits for our canine companion.

Best espresso in Victoria - hands down! If you love Aussie style coffee definitely check it out.

Colourful vibe. Fresh. And I truly enjoy their coffee. Smooth taste. A few doors down from Thriftys in Fairfield.

Terrible customers service! Guy at counter do not like his job, terrible at it! No hi , no interaccion with customers. He actually waited for customers to say hi to him ! I work down the road and I used to go for a coffee t lunch time when was Starbucks, I sat there for 30min and watched this guy service customers; and I will never go back again !

Two coffees and a breakfast sandwich came to $21, which would be fine if they were any good. The oat milk latte was burned and bitter, and the drip coffee was awfully weak. We dumped both drinks down the storm drain because we couldn’t finish them, and went somewhere else for real coffee.

I buy coffee out almost daily, so I like to try places new to me. Unfortunately, this wasn't a positive experience.Firstly, it was expensive for the quality. Second, the actual product was not good.I ordered drip coffee and a chai latte made with oat milk (they had no soy). The drip coffee was almost completely tasteless; obviously it was made far too weak. I know it isn't the beans, because they use Drumroaster coffee which in my experience is always excellent if properly made. The chai latte had a nice spice mix, but absolutely no sweetener. I guess that's fine as an option, but normally chai is a sweet tea, and I wasn't alerted when I ordered that this wasn't the case. Now if everything had tasted great, I probably would have been OK with the expensive price tag, but it's harder to take when the drinks are weak and pretty much flavour free.I see there are a few other recent reviews that make similar complaints about price and quality, so really, they should think about taking a look at what they are serving. On the up side, they do sell Drumroaster coffee beans, so you can always take those home and make it properly yourself.

Lovely place with good coffee!

I ordered large Americano. It's just hot water. No coffee tastes. Very disappointed.
