Meh for food; but then again, if we wanted good food we wouldn’t go to Glo. This “global locale” gets away with a lot because of its waterfront location. Met up with friends we haven’t seen in ages (for a mid-afternoon 3:00 pm reservation), and were informed that we needed to vacate the table for incoming reservations. It would have been good to know there was a clock running in the background (and we would have made different choices).Food: don’t order tuna taco (the chef really needs to visit other restos to get a sense for what the going vibe is); lamb burger, thumbs up; fries, pretty darn good; and thumbs up for the lettuce wraps. Nobody was really unhappy (until we were told we had to leave!). Plan ahead Kids.
Excellent customer service, atmosphere & food! Very accommodating in my needing to substitute the chicken with beef. I ordered the *SMOKED CHICKEN GARGANELLI *substituted the smoked chicken with CRISPY BEEF, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms, artichokes, confit garlic, bacon, spinach, gorgonzola cream, parmesan & bruschetta. Delicious flavor! Can't wait to return and try more items from their new menu.
First time there and it was great. Amazing food, good drinks, reasonably priced. Portion size is on point
The service was decent, very friendly and efficient. A few mistakes as our server gave us a whole bottle of wine instead of the 2 glasses we asked for, my grandmother said no problem ( because she's not one to complain) But we were made to pay for that bottle which should not happened. We did not finish the bottle. And we were brought garlic truffle fries we didnt order but at least we were not charged. The steak was NOT GOOD quality but I've yet to have a decent steak since moving here from Alberta so I didnt complain. The rest of our meals were delicious. Grandma had the creole blackened chicken which was cooked to perfection and mom had a pasta dish.... floppy noodles with mushrooms. LOL that's all I remember but the flavor was AMAZING.
Fantastic dinner and fantastic staff
Terrific outdoor patio and very friendly nice staff.
Lunch with friends. Reservations are pretty much required - the place was packed! If solo, could potentially sit at the bar but even that was busy when we were there. Quick process for vax card and id at the front reception area. Water and beverages were provided quickly. I was surprised that their menu is very similar to pre-Covid with lots of diversity in the offerings. In some ways the service seemed faster for lunch than I recall pre-Covid. Food came out quickly and everyone enjoyed their choices. We had all come before and found the quality was just like in the past. One of our group had gone the week prior for dinner and said it was also very good, so this places seems to be really doing well on all fronts. I work nearby so I foresee going back here again fairly regularly, will just need to make sure to make reservations. We sat inside since it was a cool and gloomy day; look forward to nicer weather and enjoying the patio soon! One benefit of not many government workers coming into the office right now is that the people in my group who came into the area found it easy to get free two hour street parking. Enjoy it while it lasts as the government staff in the area are due to be back in their offices in early April which will mean more traffic and activity in the area.
Shared some bread sticks and fries for the table, while we ordered a veggie bowl of some sort which was the best choice because it didn’t make us feel heavy. So delicious too. It’s a safe option so you can’t go wrong.
Really sexy and hype vibe at this restaurant. Nice low lighting and fancy layout. Really amazing and personalized service. And the food was awesome. I loved the tuna carpacio. However the calamari lacked a little oomf.
We came here to celebrate Valentine's Day with the kids and staffs were friendly and accommodating. Food is pretty good and i love the food presentation. Restaurant has an awesome view of the water and best part is they have customer parking. Good food and good service! my daughter said she wants us to come back here on mother's day with her grandma.
