This is a very pleasant pub to stop by for a beer and bite if you're wanting about the area. They have a wide array of adult beverages that should please consumers of every variety. Service was excellent: attentive and friendly. I found their poutine and fried fish particularly delicious, but I'll admit that their meatloaf looked amazing, and I'm not a big meatloaf fan.
Yes, yes, yes! If you are tired of the dry fried white meat chicken sandwich, then this is the place. Super moist dark meat chicken sandwich. Perfectly crispy, with Cole slaw on a great bun. The fries are awesome, too.
Today I visited this pub, ordered Mike's Power Salad and it was small, with really crusty hard couscous. The round dry larger than pea sized 'kernels' of couscous must have been yesterday's edition. The dressing tasted fine, very few lettuce leaves, the rest tasted fine. My daughter's chips and burger was also disappointing. There is so much choice for eating in Victoria, and I would definitely not recommend this place. The waitress, I felt, was not very friendly. Normally I am reluctant to comment but this was so disappointing I just had to.
If you're in downtown Victoria BC Canada and want to grab a quick bite or local beer this is the spot to be. Great food. Great atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. Loved the burgers and beer battered fries were also delicious. ?

65 taps, friendly staff, friendly locals. We had limited time in Victoria due to a snafu with our ship. Most shops were closed by the time we got into town and we were walking back to the shuttle when we decided we at least had to have a drink while there. Lucky for us we chose this pub. Would definitely come here again.

Service is extremely lacking. Sign says wait to be seated but we were told to find ourselves a table,l. Nearly 15 minutes passed before our server greeted us and we still didn’t even have menus because we couldn’t access the QR codes without the WiFi password! Asking questions came with minimal info and our server seemed to not care to help us after we canceled the salad we ordered before realizing our sandwiches would come with them.Food was good and atmosphere was nice but the service was soo poor.
Great little casual spot - something for everybody whether food or drinks if you are visiting with a group. I was there on a Friday night and it was bumping, our server was WORKIN hard and checked on us regularly despite obviously being pulled in many directions as the place was full. Always get treated excellent here from the welcome right up to when you leave. Casual place with great vibes, attentive and friendly service, and extensive food and drink menu.
