try the salads! fresh and creative ingredients...and the chef may share some of the prep info for example how to pickle the onions so sit sweet and purple!

Pizza is great, people are friendly, and I would love to put 5 stars here, but the online ordering platform is sooooo painful. For love of all the bearded hipsters in toques and blundstones please update/ change/ or just burn down your online booking platform.

OK...wow...I didn't feel like cooking, and eventually thought about ordering pizza. Previously, I've ordered from Oregano's, which was great. This evening, though, they weren't answering the phone... That turned out to be the best thing ever, because I remembered Fernwood Pizza, and I swear, this might just be the best pizza I've ever eaten. I ordered the Cecconi, and while the toppings were a perfect combination of flavours and absolutely delicious, the crust was the standout star. Most pizza places seem to consider the crust an afterthought, but these guys put it front and centre. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

Ingredients on the pizza taste fresh and amazing, especially the mushrooms. By the slice is quick and easy for lunch.

Not sure how I hadn’t heard of this place until today. I ordered the GF Hawaiian to go and it did not disappoint!! Best gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely be ordering again. ?

Really nice pizza for a decent price - I had a small Sausage pizza for $15, could definitely make two meals of it. Toppings were all flavourful with a generous portion of fennel sausage, and the unique inclusion of hickory sticks for all-around crunch. Order time was accurate and pizza was piping hot when I picked up. Will definitely visit again!

Hands down the BEST pizza in Victoria. It's honestly not even close. Their Hawaiian pizza... omg... it is heavenly. I usually try something I haven't had before and I am never disappointed. Just the opposite, in fact. Every one of their pizzas is better than (and more creative) than anywhere else. I will cry if Fernwood Pizza ever closes.

I live in Fernwood, and was excited to try out Fernwood Pizza Company. I am Celiac, so I ordered a pizza on a gluten free crust. I have had MANY gluten free pizzas (I love pizza), and this by far was the absolute WORST!Gluten-free products sadly have the reputation of tasting like 'cardboard', but over the past 5+ years, there has been a MASSIVE improvement in gluten free foods (thanks fad diets haha). However, this pizza crust literally tasted like cardboard. It was so hard to bite and chew, I stopped eating it because my jaw hurt, not because I was full.In addition to the crust being awful, the toppings were sub-par. I ordered a pepperoni-mushroom pizza, and the mushrooms were whole! I have never seen this on a pizza. Also the pepperoni was in large cubes. It almost was like they got lazy and didn't cut up the toppings. There also weren't many toppings, or much cheese, which was disappointing given the $27 dollar price tag.Needless to say, I won't be back. I would much rather spend my money on a palatable gluten free pizza.

Paid more for it to taste worse….I wanted to be optimistic because so many people LOVE this place. But alas it was the worst pizza I’ve had in all my life, and I was around for McDonalds pizza. We ordered the gluten free pizza and somehow it managed to be both biblically dry AND soggy at the same time. The fact that they call themselves a place where dietary restrictions and preferences collide is a heinous overstatement. Like, it’s optional to serve gf crust, you know? They didn’t NEED to do this. I’d rather have a full blown celiac attack than order here again. The only redeeming quality is the fact the gf pizza only comes in a medium, oh and the canned coke.

I have eaten from here a few times and I picked something different every order. It was hard not to since the menu is pretty diverse. I appreciate the combinations and quality of the ingredients in the various pizza types. There is something for everyone, and if not they are happy to modify their menu for you. Im a Victoria local and would recommend this place to visitors who are looking for something with a bit of character and a reasonable price point.
