This place is awesome. Food and drinks are reasonably priced and the food was delicious. The portions were larger than expected. Power hour is definitely something to check out!Our server was also amazing! She was attentive, fun, and incredibly genuine. I will be back for sure. Highly recommend!
I may still recommend this place despite just getting a Tao Bowl takeout that was so burnt the vegetables were not edible and the chicken barely so (and only because I was so hungry at 8:30 after a long day). If we had eaten in, I would have sent it back. Shame on the cook. It should have been tossed in the garbage. Hubby said his fries were lousy. Hope this place isn’t going down hill as the food has always been good before.
I don't ask for much from a restaurant. 3 basic things: A clean table, good service, and being served what I ordered (I did go through a bad patch a few years ago. Occasionally, the waiter would bring over a different meal than the one I ordered. I was usually so hungry I would eat it anyway. I considered it an unusual way to discover new food.) Unfortunately, even my modest standards were not met at El Furniture last night. I was visiting a friend in Victoria and we decided to go out for dinner. We were greeted and seated promptly. Initial drinks and the food order were also taken quite quickly. Unfortunately the train left the rails shortly after a second drink was ordered. We were informed a large group would be seated beside us, and that was the last interaction we had with our server until we left. He hovered over the group table next to us as we faded into the background. After an hour of trying to get his attention we came to the conclusion that, not only were the drinks not coming, our food order had not made it to the kitchen. The party beside us was polite enough to move so we could extricate ourselves. I managed to track down the server and he didn't seem surprised at our decision to leave. After paying for our drinks, he sent us on our way with a (less than convincing) "Sorry brother" while peering over my shoulder at the group table. Moral of the story: If you're going to El Furniture for a meal bring a large group of friends and make some noise. I'm confident the service will be exemplary. Unfortunately, a small party will be forgotten. When it comes to the standards at El Furniture, I suppose 2 outta 3 ain't bad.
Great place to hang out and have drinks! Food was amazing, although would love to see more options for vegetarian people. Falafel burger was super delicious!! Their Yam fries are a must try for a fries lover. Their specials for the day are pocket friendly. Ambience was amazing with great music and friendly staff. Highly recommended if you are looking for a good place with music, food and fun vibes!
Excellent restaurant! My husband and I stopped in here around Christmas time on our honeymoon and the service was wonderful. We had a young man who was our waiter, I forgot his name, but he was so nice and made great recommendations. The food was great portion sizes, tasted amazing, and was priced really well. Their drinks are fun too. The atmosphere is kind of a dark, grungy, bar vibe and we enjoyed it!
I had friends visitng from out of town and we decided to check out El Furniture Warehouse for food and drinks. There was a line up for a table so figured we'd sit at the bar. The bartender told us the specials. We didn't know what we wanted so we asked him to come back. He actually gave us quite a bit of attitude because we weren't ordering shooter right off the bat and said the thought we'd be drinking more if we sat at the bar lol. I've sat at the bar plenty of times and was not expected to be drinking like I was in a night club (which this restaurant is not).The food was good for the price and the drinks as well. Did not care for the bartender and didn't appreciate the weird attitude we were given throughout. He never once quality checked our cleared our food- only cared if he were having more drinks/shooters. We had to grab a server Dallas to bring us food that was clearly forgotten and the host cleaned our table and plates for us. The host and Dallas were awesome and made the visit worthwhile.All 3 of us have worked in the service industry and found the bartender to be super pretenious. It didn't sit right with me which was why I decided to write a review. Work on your customer service skills bro and realize that your working at a restaurant in a pandemic and not a night club,

Went because the initial choice of dining wasn’t available and it was surprisingly amazing and cheap with large serving sizes.
Very happy with the sunday eating experience I had here. Thought the value was very good. A cocktail for about $7, $8 for a burger & fries and a taco chips (good chips too!) and spinach dip for about $7 as well. Friendly service, music there but not too loud. Just a nice experience at a good price.
Service was good. Prices are cheaper. But my dinner wasn't even warm, room temperature at best.
