Curry Club’s Aloo Puri was very delicious, soft and flavourful. There were true Indian flavours and it exceeded expectations. It was absolutely mouth watering tasty and we highly recommend. The service was exceptional! The young man and women providing the service were friendly, attentive and helpful. We for sure will be going back again soon!
I loved the food, it felt like home. The spice, masale and the taste was purely authentic Indian. Probably the best I have tasted in Canada. Being a vegetarian its is hard to find some yummy veg Indian food. I would highly recommend this place. There could be some waiting time, but honestly..its worth the wait.Would like to visit again.???
I read the reviews before going here today. When I got there at 10 pm with my friend, I was told that they cannot accommodate me as they close soon (11 pm). I was okay with it and convinced my friend to get the food for take out. Me and my friend ordered and went for the walk till the order got ready. But when we got back, there were some people seated who came after us.This type of behaviour is surprising and unprofessional, when you are visiting from a different city to enjoy some nice time around. Hopefully the will be more professional next time or with future guests.Taste was okay.
Food is delicious! Very disappointed in last experience. We have been a supporter of curry club since they have opened. The food is delicious and our experience up to this point have been great. I paid 100 dollars for a 100 dollar gift card for my wife. She ordered the food and upon picking it up they said she could not use the gift card(she had to pay out of her pocket) . It would have to be used with a dine in experience and that she would have to call ahead first to make sure she would be able to use it. Nowhere does it say on the gift card that it has to be used dine in. And was never told this when buying the gift card. What is the point of the gift card if they attach these limitations ? No reason for this whatsoever. I thought getting a gift card would be supporting curry club as it can only be used at curry club. But now we can only use it while dining in and only when they say it is okay to do so when we phone first. A little bit shady if you ask me. Any one reading this want a 100 dollar gift card to curry club? As it is useless to us!
This is my go to place for Indian food. Love the coconut curry (any curry they sell is beautiful) and their naan family size goes real quick around our house! Deff recommended!
I cannot believe this restaurant isn't rated higher!! We live nearby and walked by it many times, but have avoided it due to some of the ratings on here. MISTAKE!!!! This is unbelievably fabulous in every way. The person taking our order was so good, and even had the food bagged separately due to allergies! And then there was the food. I had the chicken biryani with raita and a plain naan, while my wife had the chef's special coconut curry chicken. Wow! Both were fabulous. The raita was perfect with the biryani....but the naan....ohhhhh the naan. It's HUGE and wonderful. My wife's curry was great too. The portion sizes are massive! I ate the biryani over 4 days for dinner and 3 lunches, although I had to call the restaurant and order a side of raita and another naan. Simply put....eat and order from here. Wonderful.
My husband and I are on a journey to find the victorias best samosa chaat. While curry clubs samosa chaat is about 7/10 , we also had the bombay aloo which was amazing, 10/10 with sublime flavors. This is the only restaurant in victoria that has gol gappes, so I get them when ever i can, theyare so tasty.
