Simply the best cocktail bar in Victoria. Others change hands, change menus, close up, get too trendy, or get too weird, but Clive's is timeless and flawless - service, drinks, decor, everything. I can't count the nights I've spent here, quiet and loud, with and without company. Forever my happy place for a great night out in the city.

Excellent cocktails, pretty good atmosphere. A bit loud, but service was welcoming and we had a nice time. Be prepared to drop some coins though, they are expennnnnsive! (I also tried the $4 jabroni for fun - would definitely get it again!)
Clives is the place to have a cocktail in Victoria. The lounge has so much history and has won awards for their mixologist. The biggest issue will be deciding what to have and the staff can help with this, they were great.
Great atmosphere and cocktails, staff was friendly as well. Had the “toasting marshmallows on a campfire” and really liked it. Very bold flavour with a hint of sweet at the end.
True classic lounge ambience really sets Clive's apart from many other lounges imo. Relaxed and cozy but vibrant. However, it's the staff and selection of intriguing drinks that will keep you coming back. I have visited Clive's on and off for years and if you get a chance to chat with the manager about absinthe suggestions, you will be amazed by his knowledge and the diversity of offerings...for something unique and a delight for the eyes and taste buds, I highly recommend the Deep Dark Woods; who wouldn't want a drink served under a cloche?

Very cool atmosphere. Our waitress was our guide and helped us to navigate the extensive menu. She asked a few questions, suggested a few cocktails that may suit our tastes, and left the rest to us. Needless to say - fantastic!I love a good drink and Clives was nothing short of amazing!Good place for pre evening cocktails, appy's and cocktails, or an after dinner drink. We had one and vow to come back.
