This small homey restaurant was the first restaurant I went to in Victoria and it did not disappoint whatsoever! The dumplings were absolutely fantastic and I had the cold noodles which were extremely tasty as well. I also spoke to the chef at the end and she is the sweetest lady. Definitely recommend this restaurant for some delicious and filling dumplings ❤

We didn’t have much time and managed to get our food pretty quickly. It was all super fresh and tasty. We like it so much we got a bag of dumplings to go!
We didn't try a lot there but their dumplings were great. The vegan ones were filled with shitake and cabbage mixture and the shrimp and pork ones were also great. The lady in the kitchen was super friendly. Will definitely go again to try more things on their menu

Just wanted to say I popped in here yesterday because I had a craving for Japanese gyoza. The basic pork and cabbage dumplings here are very close to Japanese boiled gyoza, almost the exact same. I was really satisfied and they even came with takuan (Japanese pickles). I was very satisfied, they were juicy, not crumbly or sticking together and breaking, and just really good. Price/volume value was also very decent. I will come here again.
Excellent dumplings. Had the beef bulgogi and pork and cabbage, very tasty. Would have been good with black vinegar but they don't have it unfortunately.
Delicious mandu! Juicy, flavourful, with just the perfect chew. I had the Spicy rice noodle/fish cake and dumpling combo. Friendly service. I need to come back.

Meticulously made delicious dumplings; steamed, pan fried and in soup. The chef, an Asian woman, was cooks well, and also conscientious about her food; we ordered pan fried dumplings, 8 pieces. She brought 4 pieces first and explained that other 4 pieces were cooked too dark for her standard. Then brought 6 pieces of perfectly cooked dumplings. She insisted offering 2 extra dumplings for apology. The steamed dumplings were perfect too. I am a Japanese woman growing up eating many good dumplings, but her dumplings were truly good. Delicate and almost translucent skins with filling, all delicious. I was asking questions to the server, maybe her husband, about how the broth is made, basically if it is from scratch or not. Then the chef brought be a small bowl of soup broth for me to taste. It was delicious. Light but deep flavor, a fine broth to accompany dumpling soup. A small gem. Next time we go to Victoria, we will be back without fail.
