I walked in purely because of the name: Bubbe is Yiddish for Grandma and Rose was my Grandma!! The peach muffin was extraordinary as was the banana chocolate pecan. I’m from NYC and access to amazing bakeries. Bubby Rose’s surpassed all of them. Come to the Big Apple !!!We loved visiting your outstanding capital????
Visiting from Montreal, we wanted to pick up some coffee and bakery items during our stay in Victoria and we were not disappointed! The place itself is very charming and the food was very fresh and delicious. Lovely coffee as well.
My wife arranged a massive order for a company appreciation event today thru your lovely company and she cannot give you enough kudos. Massive thank you for your team’s hard work! The pizzas were excellent and the dietary requirements you catered for surpassed her expectations. Cannot recommend enough!
Great baked goods with a good assortment of vegan, gluten free, and dairy free options. Even their day olds are good! Chai is outstanding and I'm not much of a coffee drinker but even I like their stuff. A little on the pricey side but definitely worth it.
At Bubby's today I had a breakfast sandwich for the first time in over a decade, and even if I weren't celiac I think it would have spoiled me for Timmies: a huge, beautifully soft gluten free bun, fresh fillings and the best flavour. We also tried mini cheesecakes and the chocolate torte, which were both excellent, as well as oat and regular lattes. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm through town!
I love Bubby's breakfast sandwich scone, egg sandwich, and Bubby moor. They are seriously good. It's a great place to catch up with friends. Their service is good as well. I haven't tried their other locations yet. Looking forward to trying other locations! :)
Terrible service. Was completely disrespected as a customer who spent $20 on baked goods. Everything was tossed in a small bag. Butter tarts were upside down and leaked everywhere. Date square was squashed. Everything was pretty much uneatable so can't comment on quality. Won't ever go back and DO NOT recommend.
I love the vibe in here! My friend and I came in for coffees, but I ended up buying local artwork as well. The lattes were made perfectly and the gluten free sweets are delicious.
Came here for my lunch break and staff was awesome! I felt bad because I had brought in my own sandwich but they even watched my things while I used the bathroom and waited for my tea! The matcha was top notch, and as I decided to get a treat for the way back the server even asked me if I would prefer a corner or middle piece of the brownie-now THAT’S awesome service!! I will be making this a frequent lunch stop from now on :)
We happened on to this bakery by chance. After ordering coffee I saw the chocolate quinoa cupcake and had to try it. What a pleasant surprise! It was moist and enhanced our coffee taste. I'm diabetic and it didn't alter my BG all that much. Thank you!
