We have ordered takeout plenty of times before and will continue to do so. This is my favourite take out place in all of Victoria. The flavours in every dish I’ve ordered have had amazing depth, whether it’s a meat dish or a vegetarian dish. My favourite is the siga zebhi combo with lentils but have also happily ordered both the meat lovers and the vegetarian combos. I recommend calling the restaurant directly if you’re doing takeout. Much faster than any third party app and you speak directly with the staff.
This is where I go to pick up food when my wife is exhausted from a long shift at the hospital. The family who run the restaurant are extremely nice and courteous and the food is not only delicious but is also very healthy - a rare combination in my experience. The portions are big and the price is right.
Had this for takeout recently and was not disappointed. The veggie combo was so full of flavour and the portion was massive. I will definitely be back soon!

So disappointing. We ordered some favourites from past buffet visits for delivery. Unfortunately, it's all going in the compost as these delicious gluten-free dishes came wrapped in injera. There is nothing in the online menu or in skip-the-dishes that suggests this will happen, and when we have ordered for delivery before this didn't happen.When you advertise a deep gluten-free.menu and people don't order the one gluten-containing food, wrapping their entire meal in gluten is just thoughtless.
Best Ethiopian food that I’ve ever had? Yes! Biggest plant based/vegan variety. Come enjoy :)
We just moved here and missed our Ethiopian restaurant from back home. We were so excited when we found out that Blue Nile was just down the road from our new house. We placed an order for pick up and the meals did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. Made us feel at home. Thank you!
Used to visit here all the time with my mother. They are so friendly and the restaurant has a lovely African decor. There are always young couples and families in there and the food is warm and tasty. I would recommend it to anyone.
Great vegetarian place. I wish they had better hours but they are a small mom & pop place. Well worth the visit. Family run operation and owner is a gem and honest about their product.
Sambusa !!!Yes, this is the menu item i love the most here, most of the time sold out. Similar to East Indian snack “Samosa”. So good, highly recommend to try one.
