I've personally only ever eaten here twice. Many years apart.First time I found the burger to be very soggy.Few days ago ordered 2 cheese burgs. Not a heck of alot of flavor going on. A&dubs has more flavor on the cheap buddy burgerAlot about the recycling and co2 emissions, great for environment thumbs up.
Let me start by saying my experience with this location was amazing! From the moment I walked through the door and was pleasantly greeted by one of the staff to the moment I finished my tasty burger. It was my first time at Gateway Big Wheel and it was really busy, so I was a little worried about how long it would take to get my food.Within a minute I had a drink cup in hand to help myself to their soda machine while I waited for my order. The kitchen and server team really gave a friendly family feel and everyone seemed to be working well together under the pressure. Coming from a background in restaurants this isn't always the case!My order was quicker than expected, extremely yummy and the services was amazing and very friendly. 10/10 would recommend! I think this my new burger spot :) I would add a photo of my food but I ate it too fast!
Burnt patties and no call back for customer service.I picked up my food. When I arrived home the food was burnt and inedible. I called to request customer service - no one called me back x3 on Wed, Sat and Mon. Was a long time customer and fan but I don't think I'll ever go back. Obviously they don't care about their customers anymore.
BEST BURGER in Victoria! Juicy homemade patty, 'real' bacon (thick), perfect choice of bun and their special sauce tops it off to make a perfect burger every time.The staff is very friendly, efficient and experienced. I was served by a super gal by the name of Scarlett. Since that first visit, she has always taken the time to say a personal hello with a beautiful big smile.The place is kept very clean AND they pay attention to recycling whenever possible.
Great burgers! Love that they do GF buns and take caution when preparing the meal. The garlic fries are sooooo good too
was alright, not too memorable imo but good, no complaintsnot extraordinary, but its not trying to be. area is very relaxed and plenty of seatingi recommend trying atleast once, this is place is a classic here
I just found my new go to burger joint. These burgers are awesome. No more BK, A&W or Rotten Ronnie's for me. Friendly staff, great aura, and real burgers. The prices are a bit high though. ?
Burger taste is pretty good. They claim freshness and local ingredients. It does show. A freshly made burger also takes a little longer to get, but is worth it to me. Of course this comes at a price. If you like burgers and are willing to pay for that, you should give it a go.
This was my second time going to Big Wheel Burger and it was just as good as I remembered. The Big Chicken Crunch burger was a very good size and delicious. The Garlic and Parm fries were equally as good although the portion could have been a little bit bigger. I topped it off with the Nanaimo Bar shake and couldn’t believe that it has taken this long for someone to finally make one.
Terrific service, tasty grub and big portions! The vegan options were unexpected and a real delight, made with the same care and quality as the meat burgers. I will definitely be visiting Big Wheel Burgers again!
