Big Wheel Burger (AKA Big Blue Burger) is one of the best burgers in the city. The company has sound environmental credentials and there are myriad options for vegetarian citizens. One complaint: bring back the deep fried pickles!
I got the Cajun fries and Cajun Tots last night but they were so salty we couldn’t eat them and threw them out. I love Cajun spice but this salt was extreme..cheese burger and chicken burger was great. Second time I couldn’t eat the Cajun.
Great food, never give enough gravy haha, oh well. The burgers and fries are really delicious!!
Disappointed that they ask for vaccine card even though they offer no table service and are considered fast food. The mandate says it's not required. Food is usually good.
New Year's Eve takeout dinner was great. They have rotating seasonal specials that I ordered, like a burger with added turkey sausage and cranberry sauce, which was very tasty. The blue cheese poutine was a bit of a mess, as it's best eaten immediately. The Candy Cane milkshake was decadent. Wishing the kids menu options included a hot dog option. I recommend this place all the time. Very safe bet.
Love, love, love this place, and the fact that they support so many great local causes makes me want to go there even more, not to mention the burgers are amazing!!
Awesome place to eat! Was visiting a friend of mine and she said we had to go here, and it did not disappoint! The cookies and cream malt/milkshake I had was really good, had a thicker consistency and wasn't too sweet. The cookie bits were a great touch, would definitely recommend that one personally, though they all looked quite delicious. The burger and fries were filling and tasty, worth the price. They use fresh beef everyday and you can taste it! And the staff were super nice; they let me get a half order of fries, and even let me borrow a phone charger while I was eating inside. A smaller place with a diner sort of feel, the interior was simple and effective. I'm definitely going to eat here again when I visit!
Funny story I ordered online and thought I was ordering from the Westshore location so had a bit of a drive in to get it lol The food though exactly what I've come to expect from Big Wheel these guys just know how to make a mean burger, the large thick cut bacon is always cooked perfectly and the overall flavour just stimulates the mouth in all the right ways. Love their Cajun yam fries wish it stayed a permanent part of the menu. You have to do yourself a favour if ordering Big Wheel and treat yourself to the ice cream sandwich made with the real chocolate chip cookies is amazing and great value like most of their portions are
This business will not get another dime from, they’re asking for vaccine passports for dine in customers. Which this type of business doesn’t fall under that program. Nothing but discrimination
I ordered 2 burgers and 2 fries, one burger and fries were gluten free. Big Wheel put both sets of fries in the same bag without labeling them, so I had no way of differentiating the gluten free fries from the non-gluten free fries. When I called back 10 mins before they closed, they refused to answer. Very poor customer service.
