Great place to have a drink and food. Service was good, which seems hard to find post Covid. The balcony was nice, only downfall was the construction next door. But can’t blame them for that! Has become my favourite pub in Victoria.

We sat outside and enjoyed three choices from the Happy Hour Menu (Chicken Quesadilla, Coconut Shrimp, and Buffalo Wings) and a Dark Matter beer (Hoyne Brewing Co, Victoria). Food was hot and delicious, the beer was fabulous, and our server was great. Not sure why some reviews are so critical. We very much enjoyed our meal and would gladly go back if it wasn't so far from our home in Phoenix, AZ!

The Starbucks upstairs was too crowded, so we dropped in for a quick snack during happy hour. Local draft is good. Food selection is limited but reasonably priced. Some staff are really friendly but others aren’t so much. Understandable given its tourism location. Well at least you don’t need to wait for too long to get a table and enjoy!

Decent place. Food and drinks were good, although a little over priced. It's below the DoubleTree hotel so you can take the elevator down if you're staying there, otherwise it has a street entrance. We had 2 appetizers, an entree salad, dessert, and 1 alcoholic drink. Total was $83 before tip. They did have an extensive gin list.

This used to be our favorite cod and chips place but it wasn’t very good this time. Lots of breading and very little fish. The steak fries were great though.

I visited during bingo night, not knowing it was bingo night, and even as a tourist I was embraced by the locals and the staff. I had a blast! The cocktails are SUPER great. I got the poutine with chicken and it was average. Would definitely recommend this place as a great spot for drinks and laughs with friends.

The restaurant does not have a separate fryer for just fries. The salad was fresh and delicious, however it was a small portion and no bread rolls. The fried fish and chips was more breading than fish and the chips were not crunchy. Dessert in an English pub was cheesecake - not trifle or custard or sticky toffee pudding. Happy hour beer and wine.

Yum! Poutine dish and Lady Diana cocktail drink (fuzzy pic) for the win! Cute, quaint decor and laid-back pub atmosphere. Server was really sweet, too! Even though I live in the US, I will definitely hpp on the ferry and stop by again, some time!

Great staff and drinks! Also the best beef dip ever! If you are in Victoria I highly recommend stopping by and trying it!!

I’m not sure why this place is rated as highly as it is. It was dark and dingy, yet odd light bright if you got close to a window. The food choices were uninspired and service was slow, even on a relatively quiet Friday night. The clientele were mostly older folks looking for a beer after the work day. With so many great choices in downtown Victoria, you’re best to pass on this place.
